I’m not surprised Dan got well. With his sense of humor and his ability to laugh, he was bound to get to the other side. 😊

OMG this is my exact story!!! I am so grateful for this Dan and Dan! I haven't watched PFY in months but my TMS has returned big time this week and I come on and this! Amazing. Dan, I went through the same exact thing down to the Calmoseptine! Then I sprained my ankle and the tingling and foot pain started! I am very grateful to hear this today!

What a sweet man. He's a perfect example of how we all differently go the route we go to get to where we get to. There's no instant fix, medically or mindbody. It's a process.

And....so many of us struggle with self-esteem and hiding from who we are. The truth is we did the best we could pretty much 100% of the time, and if we failed it's not because we were bad people, but because life is often hard and we don't know how to manage situations for the best outcomes. It's important to recognise we don't need to be ashamed if we failed.

sometimes things still haunt us from what we did or which happened to us when we were quite young and never got closure for. we decided not to think about it at the time etc and pushed it down. We thought we released it , even tried to,,but maybe it’s still there? I’ve had dreams about a person from my past. I didn’t ask for these dreams . It just started happening ..strange! and it’s happened quite a few times😮

Binary thinking is a product of anxiety, I've never heard that before. I notice an increase in symptoms when I'm trying to live in a good or bad mindset. All is just what is happening. No labels. Letting go and reminding my brain that life is a little bit of everything. This video has continued to inspire me to keep going. Thank you Dan from Los Angeles and Dan from PainFreeYou.

Great interview! Dan really did an amazing job of putting into words what is involved in this journey we go through. I'm currently at about the same place on my own journey. I have days with barely any symptoms and some with more symptoms. But it no longer rules my life because I understand it now. And I'm dealing with the root cause as uncomfortable as it is I had to address the reasons why my pudendal neuralgia began. The only way out is through. I've had to take a hard look at myself and the way I've treated myself and how I've lived my life up until this point. Once I accepted this was TMS and stopped fighting myself things became so much better.

This was an outstanding interview, AND, Dan (LA) began with my exact story with many other overlaps. I really realted to how scared and lost I felt if I didn't have some kind of treatment lined up that week. I think his main take always are so simple and kind. Dan B you were obviously enjoying this , and he articulated your concepts in his own way but so in alignment with you. I will go back to this for sure. I'm very grateful for the time you take to recor and post there. I mean REALLY!!!!

Great successtory and good vibes between the 2 Dan’s! Really enjoyed listening ! It strikes me how recovered people can laugh so loud about what has been a tremendous struggle but I guess it’s because the joy of being at the other side is unlimited ! Thanks for sharing your journey Dan nr 1 and Dan nr 2: thanks again for all the time and energy you put in these recordings ❤🙏

I had this pain, went to a clinic in Oregon that electrocuted my ass to shrink my “internal hemorrhoids” the whole 9 yards. What actually fixed me was finding a KZbin channel that had this simple pelvic floor stretching routine for men. Literally fixed me within a few days of doing it morning and night. I think so much of this stuff is TMS but don’t rule out some physical therapy solutions either, I know I felt relief immediately and didn’t even believe it was going to work so the placebo wasn’t much of a factor imo. Great video thanks for sharing.

Gosh, I loved that interview so much! That was so much fun and there were so many things I could relate to. Thank you Dan & Dan. Yes, I've come to similar conclusions, slowing down and self compassion. I think it's for sure good to look at the coping mechanisms, which don't serve me...

I’m convinced that pudendal neuralgia is solely a mind body syndrome. There was a study done where researchers had autopsies done on 13 female cadavers and found that all of them had pudendal nerve entrapment (PNE) but none of them ever reported any pelvic/pudendal pain when they were alive. I believe PNE is another form of a normal abnormality as we age just like the disks in our back.

Oh my goodness you are sharing my story in so many ways! To these two Dans I want to say thank you. You have given me the ability to decide to go to my grandson’s wrestling match in an hour. I have not been able to sit for almost 4 years without pain but I AM going to be ok! I know this is my brain doing what it thinks is best for me to protect me from danger. Do not sit. Your butt and back are going to be in the most pain ever! Liar!
@bethcarter503113 сағат бұрын
I just got home from my grandsons wrestling match. I survived! My biggest pain triggers are when I sit and/or stand in a stationary position. My back and “lady parts” flair. I endured 3.5 hours with moderate level of pain but I practiced self talk and affirming messages that I would be ok. I also refrained from verbalizing any comments of pain to anyone. Those gym bleachers were hard! People all around me we’re talking about how miserable sitting for them was and they had “normal brains” 😂😂 and butts. I had to stand up and walk away so I didn’t let their comments get into my already hypersensitive mind. I walked around and practiced my breathing and talking out loud safe and kind comments to myself. I have to admit I couldn’t wait to leave but I was able to watch Finley participate in his first wrestling match. Oh yeah, he was the last kid to wrestle. Go figure😊. I am now being kind to myself with the reward of laying on my comfortable bed watching the rest of this video and I am having zero pain in my back or private parts. I get so much comfort listening to success stories like Dan’s. I know that one day I won’t have to listen to others stories but right now it sure feels good!

Thank you for mentioning the risk of focusing too much on the mindbody stuff after dropping the physical stuff. I think that's were I am at the moment. First mindbody work helped me lots and within a couple of weeks to feel like 80 % better. Then anxiety and really dark thoughts came up, which were scary and brought symptoms back up, although I knew it could happen on the way. I was eventually able to get over it by convincing myself that those thoughts and feelings don't automatically mean they will harm the progress I had made. Some days ago the next thing came up: I've always been easily overwhelmed in life and of course that's stressful, so I thought it would be a good idea to try and work on that. And now I have thoughts like: "If I can't manage to learn better strategies so that I don't percive pretty much every possible situation in my life as stressfull...will I ever be able to heal from my mindbody symptoms?" I understand now that's just a new symptom. Oh my... the brain really will try everything to keep you on guard. Hilarious!

Yes a video well worth watching again . I would like to hear more details of what his butt pain felt like and compare it to mine. Then if it was similar I could think if Dan could overcome it via TMS strategies maybe I could too😢 He probably didn’t get into detail about the pain symptoms and side effects of pudendal neuralgia / pelvic floor dysfunction and medication side effects because he didn’t want to trigger anyone -as humans in pain are quite impressionable . But in this case it would help.😊

This really resonated with me, I been having teeth issues ever since I had an implant, I been back to my dentist 3 times about it not feeling right, then I went to another dentist for 2nd opinion, tons of xrays later they all say it's fine, WTF is my brain doing to me, this TMS stuff isn't rocket science but I have such a hard time grasping it wen the pain is so real, this sucks, I won't give up tho, I am determined to get it right one day ❤

The brain isn't doing anything TO you. It is operating on misinformation and fear. Correct the misinformation to dial down the fear. Know your mouth is fine.
