Chaos dwarfs also have access to the Sea of Chaos (top side of norsca, the one to the south is the Sea of Claws) as the River Ruin runs from the estuary on the bottom right of your map up into the mountains via their capital Zharr-Naggrund, and out north via underground tunnels. So lots of fresh (albeit polluted) water shipping going on as well as their fleets.

The Chorf fleet list was published in the Plague Fleet supplement. Nowadays that box is expensive AF (like pretty much everything Man O' War)

My Dwarf fleet sails from Barak Varr. My Elf fleet from the Fortress of Dawn. Nice to see one of my favourite games on the channel.

Fantastic job on those ships - really enjoyed this video. The Chorfs were the only faction packaged in that fashion back in the '90s - a man o' war ship plus a squadron of ships of the line and a flyer. All the other fleets were sold as one unit per package. It was leagues easier to collect a Chorf fleet that way but of course the disadvantage was that there was no easy way to just add some ships of the line to the fleet. Anyways, thanks for the MoW content!

I've never really enjoyed Warhammer or the setting much, but my friend group used to play both Man o' War and Necromunda and had a blast with both. Man o' War was incredibly wonky but a ton of fun - I played the high elves which were quite OP, but so were the chaos dwarves.

Brilliant. I ran a little fleet before the millennium - really regret trading them away. And nicer to paint than the masts on the imperial fleet. Nowhere near as well painted as yours, obviously. There really is a lot of detail on the old metal sculpts, Warmaster and the metal epic minis are the same, they look so good for 10mm and smaller. Might be interesting for you to pick up the Dreadfleet box. Scale is slightly different, but it has lots of great one-off ships which are a great painting challenge. Includes Chorf kraken submarine and djinn-powered araby ship.

Don't use this word talking about getting minis often but those little baby Taurus are pretty cute 😀 Think you're spot on about the chorf's route to the ocean. There was a WFH battle report in white dwarf back in the day where high elves came on to land along that coast and got minced by a chaos dwarf host.

Well, Chaos Dwarfs are always cool. But a Chaos Dwarf battlefleet makes about as much sense as the Swiss Navy. I kind of wish GW would bring back Man 'O War though.
