That colour of yellow looks fabulous on the door!! I'm not actually a huge fan of yellow, but that definitely goes perfectly with the gold hardware, like you mentioned. A very nice sunny pop of colour at the bottom of the stairway!! Love it!!

You can hang thermal curtains in the doorway between your living room and dining room- will help keep the air on in. Your place looks fabulous!! I love that you’ve done it all yourself

Couple of ideas for the heat! Two fans in your dining room, facing out from the left corner near the closet and one coming in from the living room will make a big difference in circulating the air conditioning air. If you can figure out a way to open the window in your stairwell that would also help with cross ventilation! There must be some kind of long handled opener for windows that are high up.

Mines is all open upstairs as well as it’s villa style, the living room is upstairs and since there’s no doors it’s annoying as when it’s hot you can’t block the heat out, i switched rooms downstairs as it’s a lot cooler, the fan will be good for summer!
