Coolest looking purple worm miniature I’ve seen. Just my opinion

Excellent work. I just painted my Goremaw this week, so the algorithm must have sent me your way.

I love the grass on the turn table that’s a nice touch, I had never noticed that before.
@ThePaintingClinic4 жыл бұрын
That's the heavy duty turntable which rarely gets used. Grass is there to cut down on light glare.

That purple is beautiful 😳

Chunky model gets the hammer. Yeah, it sounds about right for a hefty game piece. Good work

Lucky! I can never get that model, it sells out so quickly

It's gone instantly in my usual Australian stores. It sucks!

Thanks Doc! I've probably watched c.90% of your videos by now, but there is always something new, or something I'd long forgotten. I'm going to use some of this vid to paint my long waiting Bones Purple Worm.

Love it. Need to get my hands on this model eventually. I agree, not the best detail, but you can't beat the shear presence! With that said, I would love to see how you tackle something as big as Ma'al Drakar from Reaper!

Always fun to watch you paint! Nice job per usual.

Nice! I just got this through the post. Primed it as soon as it arrived and have been thinking about how to paint it...

Great video, I've always wanted a purple worm! I just did a mini painting video - gave you a shout out btw, you're awesome. I do rather drool over your brush skills lol.

Have you ever done Battletech miniatures? There's somewhat of a resurgence with them getting modernized sculpts (instead of ones from the 80s).

Do you think you'll ever paint Reaper's Jabberwock? I'd love to see the process of painting that one. Awesome work either way!

Looking great! I still can't decide whether to go purple worm or sandworm when I pick it up. I am a big Dune fan so of course a part of me says Shai-Hulud, but so many people are making amazing purple worms.

You're awesome and I wish I could paint like you. Have you ever painted Kingdom Death models? If not I'd love to see you do em.

You are an incredible painter. I’m new to painting, and I’m working on this work currently. Do you prefer the Vallejo paints to army painter? I am trying to match the purple you have with AP paints and I can’t.
@ThePaintingClinic4 жыл бұрын
I haven't tried Army Painter so I can't really compare. Though Vallejo wins just for the availability

Looks great! Love the colors. What airbrush needle sizes you wind up using for this project (trying to figure out which ones I should purchase).
@ThePaintingClinic4 жыл бұрын
Iwata HP-CS. I think it's 3.5.
@davea994 жыл бұрын
@@ThePaintingClinic Cool thanks! My 3.5 right now does not seem to be cooperating. Trying to get it back in order. I think it's more than just the Needle. Was also thinking of a 5.0 for priming/painting larger models

Note: even you paint using your fingers , be very careful to not touch the test of the model with that finger/those fingers! You will mess up other parts you've painted!

@pietroinversi43794 жыл бұрын
nice overall ....... but I don't like them, the teeth too white of that worm ... I would have dirtied them much more with a shade ... because I don't think that a giant worm takes pride in hygiene dental.
@ThePaintingClinic4 жыл бұрын
Yes, but I wanted the contrast because the rest of the worm is fairly dark. The plan was to paint the spines a similar color so it would balance better.
