Hi David. I always love your videos and your paintings are phenomenal. When you use oil in the bottom layer as in a block in, doesn't that create problems later in the painting when you add paint on top because of fat over lean? It seems like you are doing fat over fat. I can see if the bottom layer is dry it wouldn't matter. But if you're working Alla prima would that cause problems? Thanks 🙏

YES! oils are safer than acrylics, so many times l hear people say that they have changed from oils to acrylics because acrylics are safer, or that they use acrylics rather than oils because they are less toxic. Acrylic’s are manufactured in a lab oils come from the earth or stones/ minerals etc. Thank you for clarifying that. 🙏🏻
