I've been to Palm Springs about 10 times for work in the last 15 years. I'm from Quebec. It is an amazing place to visit, the natural scenery is quite astonishing, so different from where I live. And yeah, in the summer it's quite hot (43C last time i went) but it's dry and I don't mind the heat at all.

It is so relaxing and quiet, especially in the winter months, and the sky is so clear, so a strar-gazer's delight. Some great food options, and the tramway covers 9 different climate zones as it climbs up for the great view. Also, much more affordable than LA.

It’s a great place to visit, but an even better place to live (except during July and August) because you’re surrounded by Celebrity history and natural beauty. I’ve been living in Palm Springs for more than a year, but I’m still finding out more about the town than meets the eye.

I haven't been to heaven but I've been to Palm Springs. I'm guessing they're the same. We've been there half a dozen times to golf but what amazes me is the service industry. Being from Canada we really don't have the same level that Palm Springs does so it's a real treat.

Best time to visit Palm Springs + the Coachella Valley is from December to April. After that, there won't be a day where it's under 100ºf, and in the summer it can get up to 130ºf.

I live in Palm Springs, and the Living Desert is not in "Palm Springs", it's in a city east of Palm Springs, Palm Desert to be exact. So if you're going to talk about the entire Valley, maybe you should include the bump and grind Trail, where you can hike up to the top of the mountain which typically takes over an hour, and you can see a great view from the top. Almost as spectacular as the top of the tram. You also didn't include our world-class casinos, and I'm not talking about gambling, they have live entertainment and shows come to the valley almost every weekend. There's always something to go see. As well as a McCallum Theatre,In palm desert, which is home to a lot of plays and concerts. I'd say you should have gotten somebody who lived out here to make your video. I was born and raised in the desert. I wouldn't like anywhere else.

Thanks for your feedback! We do try our hardest to capture the true spirit of a destination, even if that means showing some attractions a little outside the city bounds. We know very well that we can never beat that deep and authentic knowledge of a destination like a local. In fact, we are working on ways to improve this down the track by getting viewers to provide "local knowledge" for around the world.

If you are in the Palm Springs area you may want to visit Cabazon about a 20 minute drive from Palm Springs. In addition to some giant dinosaurs right off the 10 freeway there is Morongo Casino very close by. Kids love those giant dinosaurs and it is free. Note that the dinosaurs are models, not real dinosaurs.
