2013 Shelby GT500 - Can We Break 900 RWHP with STOCK BLOWER?!

The 2013 Shelby GT500 is still the baddest Mustang ever built straight from the factory. But of course, we have to make it better! This car features an MPR engine with custom cams running on E85 through a bone stock blower.
The result is one of the baddest blower sleeper cars you can put together. While the typical mid 700s on the stock engine is awesome, this setup takes it into Twin Screw territory...all while appearing close to stock under the hood! Watch the video for the results!

900 rwhp is a lot with a built motor especially with the stock blower still on ... and the boost level is probably 18 ... that’s plenty

Yea...numbers are comparable when both cars are running the same stuff. A built 5.4 is every bit as good even the iron block is it just weighs more is the only bad thing about it power production and power handling wise its as good or better than the aluminum blocks.

Michael Harris yes agreed ... a little more TQ on the 5.8 but respectively you can make more or just as much with a 5.4 DEPENDING on compression cams .. heads ... etc

And one more thing the 5.4 and 5.8 have the same stroke .... I have a 2013 and debating on going 5.4 because it’s way more cheaper

On your dyno, maybe. Realistically, no. You'd need a Whipple 2.9 or new R2650 to accomplish that.

A whipple? ish. KB makes a lot better blowers than that whipple garbage. A VMP Gen3 will go over 1000 easy. Stock blower can go over 900. Been done, 5 years ago.

@@ElijahWash Both of stop spewing bullshit. 900whp through a TVS 2.3 on a happy dyno. In the real world, TVS 2.3 is not making over 900 wheel period. Mid 8xxwhp is more like it.

Cali 😂😂😂😂 ok bud. I've seen it multiple cars on different cars. It's not all about the blower. Compression, good gas, good tune and other mods all are a factor.
