In this video we visit Pampanga, a province in Central Luzon region of the Philippines. It is known for being the food capital of the Philippines because of its delicious Kapampangan dishes and cuisine! Today we try the famous Filipino dish SISIG - the word was first mentioned in a Kapampana dictionary meaning "to snack on something sour" or "salad"! Sizzling sisig is made with chopped pork parts. It's spicy, tasty, and a must-try food when in the Philippines! We heard to two of the best sisig restaurants in Pampana.

I love sisig. That was my favourite Filipino dish when I traveled to El Nido Palawan. I found most other Filipino food a bit bland but the sisig was a bit spicy and very tasty. Great video!

Wow! Last time I ate in Milas was in 2014. No aircon back then. Mila's #2 best Sisig in the country in my opinion. Best is Aysee sisig.

i miss aling lucing's. i used to go to pampanga alot for work and i would definitely drop by whenever i was in the area. lols. sisig can also be better with 2 fresh eggs added while the plate is still sizzling hot

From Texas-Barbacoa -Beef cheek meat , just had some. Bake in the crock pot over night, serve on flour tortoise with avocado and your choice of hot sauce.

Btw, for calamansi... There’s usually not that much of a difference if its yellow or not. But green is ideal. It prolly became yellow because its not harvested the way its supposed to. Calamansi have to be harvested with a bit of the stem so that it will stat fresh for longer time. But it could also be just ripe, but it’d still be sour

Pampanga, Angeles City is where I grew up, now a Londoner. It's the central of filipino food cuisine. I'm surprised you really liked the buro😄I still cant get past the strong smell on that one everytime we have those back in the ph. But the pako salad, dang, I love those. In the north, we just toss it with tomatoes, onions and fish sauce. It's hard to find those kind of veggies here in the US.

Pork Sisig is one my favorite dish in Philippines, Usually pretty good anywhere you buy it in Philippines. I did notice in Manila area they try to put two spoonful of mayonnaise in it when they mix it up, Sure makes it taste a lot different and kills the taste for me.
