Hey Bo, let's compare the three main types of Pando's pants with the REV'IT! Moto Jeans: The REV'IT! Moto Jeans, Pando Chinos, and Pando Boss 9/Desert EL Jeans all have similar weight Cordura denim and similar Kevlar/aramid/PWR|Shield reinforcement at the knees and seat. The Pandos claim a 4.5 second slide time or 55 meters, while REV'IT! claims 6 seconds of slide time. The REV'IT! Jeans and Pando Chinos have a light stretch, while the Boss9/Desert ELs are really stretchy and comfortable. The more expensive Pando Moto Steel 9 Jeans are single layer jeans that integrate 25% Dyneema for a 4.5 to 6.5 second slide time or 70 meters. They breathe a bit better than the others and are a little less bulky. All four provide enough safety for even spirited street riding. Since Pandos only come in a 34 inch inseam, though, you might want to go with REV'IT! in a shorter inseam. I have pretty thick thighs and calves, should I size up?

I have pretty large thighs and calves from cycling, dirt bikes, and ice hockey but really didn't find these to be too bad or tight in those areas. Before I modeled in this video I was actually walking around showing the team how well they fit so I would say no, you shouldn't need to size up for those reasons. You guys have Pat in a 34? Really? His fat is busting out of the seams. I'm the same height and 215. This is what pisses me off with you guys. You size down so much and then I buy something and it doesn't even come close to fitting. Way too small. Pat should be in a 36 at best.

Appreciate the feedback. I am actually buying these in a size 34 as we speak because of how great they fit and how comfortable they were while I was modeling and test riding them. But I will now be at the gym twice a day for the next year and jumping on the Lemmy weight-loss program. Cheers!
