Ah yes fun with throttle linkage. Had a similar problem on my U S Army 1952 Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 it had a Rue Goldberg setup that was totally wrong. Got it sorted out and built new throttle linkage using a piece of all thread with swivels at each end. Works great now.

I hope the weather is getting warmer in Oregon! I'm still shovelling snow outside. I don't have much to do yet. I washed the RV last week which is why it's snowing again!

I’m having the same problems, I have a 66 Chevy stepside with inline 6 250 ci I put Holley EFI on it, the throttle is 90 deg and pulls down instead of up like the original, had to go to a flex cable to bend around the corner.
