At the same time, the singer has done some questionable things in the past. So, he is saying if people are mad at him, they call him a racist. Just like if some white people get mad, they use racial slurs. If someone gets mad at him, they call him racist. I’m not defending him, but I think that’s his point of view. I’m from Texas and grew up not too far from them, and Ive seen them more than any other band. Great band when you are a young frustrated teenager. Haha. Cheers to that comment! Ill second your explanation about the lyrics, "You used complexion of my skin for a counter. Racist tool" 26 years later and that sentiment is more valid than ever. So tired of the race card...Ill guesstimate that ohhhh roughly 99% of the time its used incorrectly. Find an older dictionary and compare the actual definition to what the matrix now blathers out. Im from Texas as well, and at the hundreds and hundreds of shows and concerts Ive attended, there have always been mixed crowds. Predominately the fans youd expect, but enough of everyone else to break any preconceived notions one might have. From Johnny Cash, to Spearhead, to Pantera and the Gypsy Kings, from Groupo Fantasma to The Melvins, Fats Domino, Tinarawen and Buckethead.... Im always thrilled to see diverse crowds of people of all ages from all over all sharing the experience of music.

Just subscribed..I'm gonna enjoy your pantera journey. Another song you should do is 10's it has an epic solo. What he was referring to in this song is a situation where a fan got injured at a concert, the guys father called panteras management and said I just want 5 minutes alone with that Phil guy( the lead singer) to which the manager replied" no you don't" . Phil heard about it and wrote these lyrics.

This song is about the frontman of the band Phil Anselmo supposedly jumping off of the stage and assaulting a black kid in the audience. It never happened and he had to pay a lot of court costs and lawyers. The black guys father said that he didn't care if they won he just wanted 5 minutes alone with Phil. Phil was obviously pissed off about it hence the song 5 minutes alone!

Maybe the fan in question was black and he attempted countrer-racism on the singer, I don't know. It's great that Kirti likes the band. Pantera is a legendary metal group that inspired a lot of modern day metal bands so there are more than plenty great songs to listen to.

the song is about the singer and a guy who got into an argument and who wanted to fight him backstage, the guy told the singers manager "Just give me 5 min alone" and the manager told the guy.. You dnt want 5 min alone with Phil, Cause Phil would beat him up.. the line in the song goes "You used complexion of my skin, for counter racist tool.." So something the guy said to Phil was racist. react to Domination if you want another Heavy one, Or The Hollow if you want to see the bands "Softer Side"
