It’s blasphemy to talk about Triumph when they are asking for Pantera tunes. I’m guessing since those are the three songs most of us already know that’s probably the only good songs they have. I’m sure Pops knows the songs. It’s impossible to be his age and not have heard them.

They were close friends with Skid Row. Opening for Judas Priest was possibly the biggest break for them on the Painkiller tour though, and Phil was trying to emulate Rob Halford’s vocals a lot in the early days. Try Shattered from their early stuff. The later stuff was much different, but all great.

Does family friendly mean no songs or live performances with cursing? I gave u an entire detailed breakdown of every *mellower* Pantera song in your last Pantera reaction. Only a dozen tracks, see that for a quick cheat sheet. Pantera is very interesting because they sound different on every album. The evolution of their sound from 1988-2000 across 6 records plus a live album masterpiece is a treasure of essential music history. These are world class muscians. Unfortunately too many channels get stuck on Pantera & completely miss out on other classic albums by these guys in other bands. DOWN especially not to mention the other 8 or so significant bands. *DOWN* is a legendary hard rock/metal band that has carved their own incredible legacy. Excellent reaction. Please react to The Warning. They're a rock band from Mexico. 3 sisters (20, 18 and 15 yrs old). They started playing music very young and became a band when they we're 13, 11 and 8 yrs old. They write their own songs and most of them are in English. Their songs range from hard rock, punk and slow rock.

Pantera did some great music. The whole Vulgar Display... album still gets regular rotation on my "playlist" (I don't actually have a playlist, but you get idea). Cowboys... is a great album too. Those two really cemented my fondness for the band. I'm sure you probably have a big list of Pantera songs to choose from now so I'll suggest something a little more out there. Okay, well, maybe a LOT out there. Alright...it may be the weirdest music video ever created. The musicianship is incredible and their style is quite unique. You guys are missing out on so many other great Pantera songs. I suggest one of two things. React to entire albums of theirs or screw the reaction and just listen to all their music. They have a catalog of music that I will put up against any band from any genre of music. I love bands like The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Metallica just to name a few and all of them have written bad songs and even produced bad albums. I will make a quick disclaimer though. Most Pantera fans do not consider everything they put out before 1990’s Cowboys from Hell. They did put out several albums before that with a different sound and different singer. They originally started as a hair metal type band but only gained local notoriety here in Fort Worth. When they changed over to thrash/groove metal they blew up. Enjoyed y’all reaction. Wow a bit unexpecting reaction guys! Like Pantera, but never really get hard into them. This song is their classic banger. One of the best. Dimebag Darrel was their guitarist, who unfortunately passed away. Also he is one of the best guitarist in metal. Thanks for reaction!
