there's a lot of bashing going on. Phil and Rex were part of the original crew and as far as I'm concerned it sounds pretty damm good ,with a band of Sober(hopefully) musicians up there. This is the music of my younth and to be still listening 30 years later is amazing

Impossible feat but dare I say, Anthrax’s history with the band and Charlie’s precision; criticism of the drums fly under the radar. The whole idea’s a tough bottle of pills to swallow

@@handtogocam there is little to no criticism of charlie because as far as my ears can tell he is sticking as faithfully as possible to how vinnie played the songs which is how it should be imo. He is never going to sound exactly like vinnie but thats the nature of being an individual obviously. In Zakks case he is just just throwing in his "signature" guitar moves and tone left right and center all over Dimes riffs and solos and it just irritates the hell outta me ( there are far more important things going on in the world obviously). My bottom line is the other three members of this band play and sing the songs the way they were meant to be played, why cant Zakk??

@@davidslattery6750 you can’t replicate Dimebags sound, it’s impossible, and Zakk isn’t there to make it sound like him either, he’s there to pay tribute to his friend. He can only sound like himself, if you were a guitarist you’d know that. Drummers can replicate each other a lot easier, and Vinnies sound isn’t that hard to get right either. Also, Zakk isn’t playing like himself at all really, he’s not using the pinch harmonics too much, hes actually holding back a lot with his own style. Either way, no one else could’ve done it, it was only ever going to be him.

Vinny and Dime weren't the sole owners of this music...I could see shitting on it if there were no original members but Phil and Rex own half so they can do whatever the fuck they like.
