Damn right! I always say, Metallica's "One" shows best, how Metal is composed liek classical music, but "Mouth for War" shows this pure, raw energy and power, that makes Metal great. Also, there's a documentary called "Heavy Metal - Louder than Life" and wenn all people, who are interviewed in it, are talking about what Metal is made of, "Mouth for War" is playing in the background (the video is also shown) to show of what examples they are talking about...

I know that you like Stevie Ray Vaughn, so I would like to bend your ear in the direction of one Mr. Gary Clark Jr. Je is a man who has been touched by the BLUES GODS. You will not regret a single minute listening to any one of his works of art. Enjoying your Journey my brother.

Also. Growing up in the 80s and 90s, coming to the realization that the system is set up against regular people, really makes you angry. Some of us migrated toward intense pissed off metal. Some gravitated towards pissed off rap/hip hop. Depends on your situation and your surroundings. We were pissed off. We knew we were getting shafted. We had these bands, (and in my particular case pantera and life of agony), because got the first time in our live we felt understood. Part of something. We belonged. No matter what society told us, we knew we were fighting for our futures and our lives. Seeing people discover it brings back so many memories of just sitting there, and thinking "holy shit. There's more of us out there.". It reminds me of my first listen. Thank you, man. I appreciate you.

This set the stage for stadium-sized mosh pits Not sure what the biggest pit I saw was... I didn't see a great deal of metal, and truth is I missed a lot. Maybe High on Fire 2010. The craziest was a small but hyperactive pit for Napalm Death. Exodus had the coolest fun-loving pit, super-friendly. Yeah man, you know about these guys. Can you hear the Texas in the guitars?
