One of the two best concerts I've ever been to was Pantera's Cowboys From Hell tour. It was in a small baseball field, and their stage was basically at home plate. We were within 50 feet of them and it basically turned into a dust storm as we moshed like hell on a dirt baseball field. By the end everyone was covered in mud. Sweat mixed with dirt. It was fucking AWSOME!

Fun Metal Fact #13: The movie Back To The Future, Michael J Fox scares George McFly awake with a Van Halen tape. The guitar used for that riff was Eddie's iconic black w/ yellow stripes called the bumble bee. At Dimebag Darrell's funeral Eddie put that guitar in Dimes custom built KISS coffin. And cried.

Jack Swagger Alice and Metallica too (except Layne). Metallica was in the audience at AICs unplugged show. That's why Mike Inez's bass says "friends don't let friends get friends hair cut" cause it was shortly after Metallica all cut their hair. That's why the band plays a little of Enter Sandman at one point and the opening chords of blackened later on between songs.

Haven’t seen anyone mention it in the comments, of course I haven’t read them all, but in case you didn’t know, that amazing guitarists name was Dimebag Darrel Abbot. He was tragically murdered on stage by an obsessed fan. The whole chain of events that led up to it was some crazy shit!

@7:00 you are absolutely right. Metal is the only genre to ...like.. "vulgar display of Power"...this raw, primal and savage sounds and on the other hand complex virtuosity. It's variety in sound, mood, rhythm, melody and the dozens styles of singing..it's a whole universe of music and most musicians don't have to hide before classical musicians. Metal had its highs and lows but it will exist forever and so I appreciate new generations like you to discover this music.

You need to do a react vid for the following two songs: 1) Skinny Puppy: 'Nature's Revenge' from their album TOO DARK PARK 2) Nine Inch Nails (NIN): 'Heresy' from the album THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL Often, both bands are overlooked as 'proper' heavy-metal, although they both inspired bands that are currently creating metal recordings. Don't let them go unnoticed by your great channel/audience. Bang your head more often (just don't hurt your neck.) ;)
