There was also a BMW in my rear-view mirror, I had four cars on the right that were slower, two cars in front of me that also wanted to overtake. The M5 hung in my rear bumper for less than 5 meters, all the while flashing his headlights, and when he was able to pass, he gave everyone the middle finger. If the backseat passenger was in the front seat, this would be a million view video 😆

Well... The M gang, and the GTR boys are still wondering, what actually hit them. But crazy traffic. Great QV, i love those Alfa's.

Chris was a bit on the talkative side, I'd find that distracting in speeds that this lap was seeing. -Lovely car though.

@@marcelnotavaiable6607 no, he never pushes other drives aside, and almost always thanks them when they yield. Why do everyone who attacks Misha here has a modded BMW or Audi on their profile pics?

The Giulia chassis is incredible. You could build a 2.0 Turbo 200HP Variant. Relatively cheap car to buy. Chassis is as good, Engine with a tune will give 350hp... :)
@Scheltokeeper3 ай бұрын
@@justacomment1657 Yep! The 200hp and 280hp variants share the same 2.0T four cylinder petrol engine (GME T4). There is definitely room for more. Maserati is using the same engine with a bigger turbo and mild hybrid for the Ghibli GT (330 hp). It's not a high reving engine, but still very powerful. Especially with the Q4 drive.

@@Scheltokeeper I wouldn't want to have AWD for a race car it's just weight and basically useless during high speed
@Scheltokeeper3 ай бұрын
@@justacomment1657 When it comes to track use, the Q2 may be better, but as a daily driver the Q4 is really awesome. Pulls straight foward! The Q4 isn't permanently AWD either. It's actually always RWD. Q4 only kicks in for a few seconds during kickdown and when there is loss of traction in corners. As you said, a tuned 2.0 turbo Veloce Q2/Q4 could be really interesting as a "low budget Quadrifoglio" track tool, cause the Giorgio platform is simply awesome!

@@Scheltokeeper seriously it's a great drivers car. Even the slow diesel version I own is fast as f* on nice curvy road. And the stability at speed and the comfort is simply something I have not witnessed in anything with similar engine specs. The dynamic of the thing is just incredible..... driving on slippery surfaces is fun as hell...you can rotate the thing with the brake or pedal if needed... in a stock low end variant.. Chassis and suspension are exceptional....it doesn't hurt that all Giulia's are basically downgraded QVs.... Just look below the car...active brake cooling for the standard variants, a working diffuser on the rear. The underbody is almost completely flat... There is a very good reason the QV can go 300 and be stable without a gigantic rear wing.... The 2.0 Turbo without the glass roof could become a serious track tool. It's got decent brake sizes from the factory. The RWD version has 50/50 weight distribution.. AT8 with pedals is superb, refit race mode and you can go full ham without esc ruining the fun. Put some ferodo pads and floating discs with new fluid and some track focused tire on the thing....give it a remap an additional oil cooler and it's going to be a weapon. A very serious car. For the Nordschleife 350bhp might be slowish on the straights but it is lighter then the QV and can possibly carry more speed through the corners... Sorry I went off topic... The Q4 system is nice I know. But I prefer the car to go sideways if I lose traction. Problem is the traction control will not allow it without race mode...that kills the fun a bit..

@@justacomment1657 It's nice to hear that even the diesel Giulia is a pleasure to drive. However, i'm not surprised! I can also blindly confirm everything else you said. I own a MY22 2.0T Veloce Q4 (280hp / without glass roof) since 2022 and i'm still amazed by the overall driving characteristics and the beautiful design never gets old. The car is simply amazing. Unfortunately, far too rare, totally underrated and misunderstood. German shit is no longer an option for me.
