Notes:
- This one is different from the others - I didn't have a strong image for this song. Was a journey figuring things out from scratch!
- Will use a more digital brush in the future. Fits with the simplistic representation that I like
- This one has gradients! And a grain filter, not sold on the grain, but the gradients are fun to play with
- yes there is a lot of discontinuity with the lighting but sometimes... sometimes you just don't have the resolve to fix em :')

The workers’ headlights from their hardhats on their featureless faces… it’s like they’re possessed zombies. Makes sense, since choosing to go to Hadestown is very clearly a metaphor of actual death.

Well no, the one that's my actual favorite is from the same persepctive but when he laughs because watching that shadow move like that all encompassing them poor souls. BUT this is a very close second because *because* this shadow looks like he has horns like a true devil~ 0:30 - nOOOOOO Her expression HURTS ME! IT HURTS ME SO BAD ;-; Hades Hades noooo we don't tell the Queen to shush aaah my heart hurts. Hadestown Hades and Persephone hurt my heart so much 0:49 - Orpheus you precious cinnamon roll....Eurydice looks like she so desperately wants to believe he *can* just waltz out of Hell with her but alas... 0:53 - ..but alas the fav shot here it is! Or sequence i guess? sequence of frames? seconds?? Whatever, laughing shadow I love it so much. And all the workers are STILL surrounding them this is so claustraphobic I hate it but I love it the imagery aaaa 1:01 - I love your expressions I love this animatic, I love your Persephone and I love Hades and Orpheus and Eurydice and the Workers, yessir. They're all perfect, their expressions are perfect and that RED GLOW IS SO VERY LOVELY INDEED 1:05 - Foo, Foo you Hades, stop feeling bad about it, stop being a nuanced character, how dare! But in all seriousness, again with the expressions you convey their emotions so DAMN WELL it's illegal 1:11 - 1:15 - "that every*thing* (pans to the workers and the two mortals) and every*one* (pans to persephone) in hadestown I own" I L O V E. Yeah you tell 'em Hades! *sobs* Persephone is TOO SAD FOR ME TO FULLY ENJOY HADES'S POWERTRIP 1:20 - This mc'fucking *smirk* 1:27 - EXPRESSIONS AGAIN SO PERFECT. The grin, the eyebrows raised. You capture the condescending "surprise" he's feeling to goddamn perfection. 1:31 - *slaps back of hand into palm as if he has a stack of papers on hand* He's so goddamn expressive and dramatic! YOU DO HIM SO MUCH JUSTICE. Beyond justice, he is the Hades in my head. Dropout theatre kid... *wheezes* 1:33 - *WHEEZES* He's having SO much fun being able to rub it in Orpheus face I can't.
