I'm sad that the G11 never went anywhere. The engineer in me tells me that having a firearm that mechanically resembles a Swizz wrist watch is a very bad idea. Nice take on the survival kit from Dr. Strangelove. Fun fact about the original scene: if you watch Slim Pickens' mouth movements, he doesn't say "Vegas." The original line was, "shoot, a fella could have a pretty good weekend in Dallas with all that stuff." The movie was also going to be released in late November 1963. For obvious reasons the release was delayed and the line was changed.
