There’s something really interesting about this series’ depiction of God He looks like what someone would see when trying to perceive something so mind blowingly awesome that it exists beyond the boundaries of the human mind, and his voice kinda sounds like a bit of everyone talking at once, giving Him an almost universal sound His attitude towards Satan is surprising too, He’s almost like a firm but fair father figure towards him and I really like that 10/10

There's a lot about this that I find very charming. Aside from the fact that God and Satan can have a civil discussion, and God will give advise to Satan even after his betrayal, the Mormons are either too naïve to recognize the lord of darkness or they will happily welcome him to heaven no matter who he is.

Mormon doctrine doesn't include a "hell". The closest they have is the Great Chaos/Darkness depending on who you ask and that's pretty much exclusive to those who had interacted with and knew the existence of God (Judas, fallen angels, etc.). Honestly I really like that they don't believe those with different beliefs will be eternally punished and even give the virtuous ones a good afterlife. Highly recommend reading up on it if you've got a spare weekend or two.

Celestial being the highest glory for those who were strong in the Mormon faith and accepted and adhered to gospel teachings, terrestrial being a second tier for those who are good people, but did not accept/fully adhere to Mormon gospel, and the third tier being the Telestial, which is where murderers, adulterers, liars, bad people, etc will be. According to their teachings, even the lowest Telestial kingdom will be a glory beyond what anybody can comprehend.

It's ridiculous, crass, and so over the top, but part of Matt and Trey's theme is that they always inject actual, real life advice as a juxtaposition. They aren't trying to be noble with it, though, and that's the funniest part. They literally only add important and rational life advice/lessons BECAUSE it's so out of place.

Satan isn’t a proper name and neither is lucifer. The name of the angel mentioned in Job is Samael (according to Jewish scholars) and he’s part of God’s angelic council. He’s basically God’s chief enforcer. Christians completely misinterpret the Old Testament.

@@AtreVire while praying would still be a thing, that's not the main focus in heaven. Much of the prayers that many are praying now will not be needed anymore. Prayers for health and prayers for conversion will not exist. But praise, adoration, and thanksgiving will be offered to God. Btw there will be no pain, no suffering, no mental problems, no issues, no emotional trauma, no bad feelings, no disease, no fear and what youll experience is true peace. On another related note, biblically accurate angels will be around you. Seems interesting.
