CK3 will be the standard Crusader Kings game from now on just like Eu4 and Hoi4 for their respective franchises. You can get Ck2 as it is free to play to try it out before CK3 releases, you can get a first impression about the UI (you'll get a better feeling about how CK3's UI is, compared to CK2's) and the politics in the world. If you decide to try CK2 before Ck3 i'd recommend forming the kingdom of Norway as a viking ruler and go raid england :p, or a good peaceful start would be as the king of France in 1066 and try to keep the realm and develop it, in the future preparing it to fight the holy roman empire, england and brittany for modern france's borders.

@@parsatayebi7652 shame, the romans and the greeks had naval combat in their time . Still great game though

@@roropiroro6425 Yes but they were the exception and not the rule. Byzantines won't even have unique mechanics at launch. Maybe they will make an expansion focused on that region and maybe then they will also add more naval options.
@roropiroro64254 жыл бұрын
@@MeldinX2 what I'm saying is that naval combat in the middle ages was as commom as in the renaissance, for a game that uses history accuracy it would be great to add naval warfare since it adds more juice to trade routes and having to defend them.
@MeldinX24 жыл бұрын
@@roropiroro6425 I mean i'm not against having good naval systems in the game. As it stands they don't even have trade routes in the game at launch. I guess they could make an expansion about naval stuff in general. But i don't think they will. Even in CK2 we only used ships as transports.

As much I like this game I hope the next Victoria 3 or hearts of iron or they create a new game that combines ck3,vic2 and hoi4 with an extended timeline and maybe go more in depth for the political process
@parsatayebi76524 жыл бұрын
HoI4 is not the game to do that with. It's less about building up your empire throughout history, and more of trying to push to that last province for an encirclement. By that point in time, governments were very centralized and the politics revolved around countries, not people. Absolute monarchy had also been completely wiped out in WWI.
@jeylonblake34074 жыл бұрын
Parsa Tayebi I’m meaning with a little bit more character development,maybe include realistic elections, realistic govt functions that eventually change over time , also I don’t mean them making that for the next HOI I mean combine all the elements of the other game maybe turn it into to one big game with different timer periods and different mechanics for each period
@parsatayebi76524 жыл бұрын
@@jeylonblake3407 I get you man, and I used to think that too, but HoI4s hour-by-hour playstyle would be an absolute cancer if it went past 20 years. HoI4 has more ticks than Vic2 as it is.

In ck 2 we could poses baronnies in county that we didn't hold , how will it function in CK 3?
@UnprofessionalGamerr4 жыл бұрын
Unless I’m mistaken, you can no longer have independent baronies in counties. Personally I hope this is the case, it was very annoying to have to wage an entire war over a barony
@MichaelFortner19894 жыл бұрын
Barony titles in ck3 are always vassals of the county they are in. However there is a new mechanic where holdings can be rented out, for example to holy orders. You give up the tax and levies, but you still technically own the barony and can kick them out if you want to. I believe this was confirmed in one of the earlier dev diaries.

@@UnprofessionalGamerr Thank for the information but unfortunately I don't agree about the fact that it make it better on the contrary it was more historic in ck 2 , a historic example is Berwick-upon-Tweed changed several times possession between England and Scotland and his has a size of a baronies and there is a lot more examples like between the French Italien border , where there were wars for just little towns and that is why still today they are Italians town where the majority speak a French dialect

Havoc is a similar sized (20k subs) channel as One Proud Bavarian. I'm assuming Paradox is using this as an opportunity to give some smaller channels exposure. I think we might see several channels all get a chance to do a few. Pretty cool of Paradox actually.
