Both my rigs have that Off Grid throttle. Love the Atom 80, so light! Yes break in necessary on all motors. will need to re-torque head bolts etc.

Looking forward to seeing you guys paramotor flying. Bigger props give more thrust and efficiency as most of the thrust is produced by the outer part of the prop. If you look back into paramotors, you’ll see a progression to bigger propellers. It also allows slower spinning props which makes for a quieter paramotor. The off grid is a great throttle. The adjuster is for the cruise control not for the tickover. It allows you to fine tune the cruise to maintain a constant altitude/climb/descent.

Thanks for your videos. They are both helpful and encouraging to those of us trying to struggle through the learning process. Bravo.

Yes that throttle has a cruise control. Thr diial adjusts the rpm once in cruise for level flight cross country

For safety reasons it is good to have a cage much bigger than the prop and in addition have the prop inside the cage as much as possible. Otherwise you increase the risk to get lines into the prop during start. If you are a pro, then you don't have to look for this. But for beginners it is better.

Nice! I think the larger prop should give you about 5% more power all around, and a little less clearance, but since your Limitless can handle a 140cm prop, I can't think of a reason to get the smaller size prop. The Off-Grid throttle is really nice ergonomically and for the cruise control. People often cut a little off the throttle lever to get that two-finger clearance. You can get replacement levers if you cut too much.

I think you nailed exactly what we were thinking Mark! We got the 130 and I was thinking of chopping a bit off the throttle too!

Making pull starting easy on a paramotor is a simple as pulling upwards not forwards but upwards like from your shoulder to above your head 😉 .... Eprops has less torque than the helix but the helix is much stronger than the eprop 😏😉.... Congratulations on getting your paramotor 😏 I definitely look forward to those videos with both of you enjoying 😏

Hello guys, great instructional video ! Just out of curiosity, do you guys both have like other jobs than paragliding related, working remotely from Portugal or something or are you full time invested both of you into the retreats, courses and other PG stuff ?

I want to fly with you guys, if that is possible let me know, I live relatively close and it would be fun to try a new location and meet you in person. Btw 12:19 you can adjust the idle, yes, but not on the throttle, you adjust it on the carb itself.
