@nobuting , i didn't know it was a cover but for some reason it always brings me back to my childhood even though I hadn't heard this song till I got the cd back in the 90's but I just heard the original and man it all makes sense. it is a good cover thanks for letting me know, maybe I heard it when I was young and it was just in the back of my memory some where.

No. Joni Mitchell wrote the song. Judy recorded. Then Joni recorded.

@@erinhill264 Herbert is correct. Even though Joni wrote it, Judy was the first to release her version well over a year before Joni's. This always confused me. It doesn't matter if Joni wrote it and released it.
