Looks delicious, gained yourself a sub. Personally haven't been to Paris, but wifey and I went to Rome last year and La Pergola was similarly priced. For 3 stars we'll target about £900 - £1K for all in, though this includes decent wine and service. Some people would rather have a weeks all-inclusive holiday to the Med, frankly I'd rather have a 4 hour feast. But I'd definitely go back, and indeed would love to try here. It's clearly not cheap, but it looks beautiful and I could tell you were enjoying things. It's also not always understood the amount of work / ingredients in these dishes, the service, and also the amount of freebies you typically get across a tasting course. Thanks for sharing.

The food may be fabulous, but the prices have soared, the last ten to fifteen years, and just the last few years even more. Unless most of the cost of the meal is for expensive libations, then there is usually no reason why a meal for one or two people should cost so much.

Some advice for you: Trust me you don’t need to go to all that absurd show to “taste what good mozzarella is like”. A Totally pretentious, overrated, obscenely overpriced scam, in my opinion. They spot people with too much money to waste (like you) from a mile away. And the tacky music and captions make the video look more like an advert for a kid’s Happy Meal. And a bill for €770 if I saw correctly? I shudder to think how many starving children in under-developed nations that could feed and cure.
