I haven't read Aces's book, but I've read Peter's. As a huge Peter Criss fan back in the day, it's kind of unbearable to read. While I believe Gene and Paul have way too much self esteem for their own good, most everything I've read says they bent over backwards to put up with Peter and Ace (after all, that's were the money was), but in the end, couldn't do it anymore. Just my opinion, but I tend to agree.. It's kinda like having the fraternity brother you hook up with 20 years later and he still thinks he's in college. Can't wait to listen to the rest of this.

Not true, how do you know Peter and Ace book aren't more accurate? 🤔

​@kevinchandler179 no one KNOWS anything except for the four of them also the other musicians who played on the albums when Ace didn't show up or Peter was unable to play, at all. That being said, people with addiction are extremely unreliable. Have you worked with people who had personal problems ?

I literally discovered this less than half an hour ago as I write this. And as soon as I saw the first video? Subbed. I love the oddly out of reality feel of it. Sound effects and big presentation... like KISS. I've heard the Stanley audio book but not the Gene one. But great idea having them side by side. It reveals how much they, as people and showbiz figures, differ on the telling of what has been amazing ROCK N ROLL journey.

I kinda like what Paul says about college. I did got to college and I graduated with a BA and it was probably the biggest waste of time in my life. If I had it to do over, without a doubt, I would have devoted all that time into music instead. I don't know that I would have ever made it in music (probably not), but I wouldn't be any worse off and I'd be able to play better. Lol.
