It extends out of prison, which is why there are all manner of divides in societies across the world, including, racial divides, ethnic divides, religious divides and class divides.

Brother, you were the most dangerous man in the prison with your mind. It’s good you are speaking that knowledge, and good that you waited long enough where you are safe to tell it.

Ali reminds me of the comic genius and powerful community activist Petey Greene -- DC's human rights champion. His comic genius and love of community was a force to be reckoned with.

Now that you mention it, Ali Siddiq is also like Dick Gregory (RIP), that is, Ali like Dick Gregory was, is an activist as well as a comedian🙂

I feel like this is really about COVID-19 for me. I'm an outcast. Always have been. I'm also considered to be a top 10 musician in my state. I mingled with the upper set often. They always looked down at me. I wasn't from their world. I was the help. COVID-19 hit and all of a sudden, thise same people are calling me. "How do you deal with the isolation?"... Etc. I could've been petty. I wasn't. I got it. Now, those same people don't look down at me. I became the thinker in the room. They uad to come down to my level, and then they understood my worth. The same position. Ali has to be a legitimate genius. Operating from the same position. That's profound. It's also absolutely true.

Hey.. .nononono....I don't think the way others do...I don't see anyone any different than anyone else....we are all human beings, we all have dreams, hopes, feelings, thoughts emotions...we all have the ability to do better in life and succeed...I cannot understand how anyone can treat another human being like they are less than... I'm 1/2 Native American and 1/2 Caucasian and I absolutely do not like the 1/2 Caucasian part but I have to embrace it because it is real and makes me who I am. I have never been able to wrap my mind around racism and prejudice. The one thing that really baffles the shit outta me is...if there weren't all of the different nationalities or races or whatever APPROPRIATE title that was given to them..."white" people wouldn't exist now, would they? My Caucasian half is made of German, French, English and a wee bit Irish...and, I am proud of the piece of me that is black, however I am not proud of how it was introduced to my genetics. I am a descendant of Gen Robert E Lee and it absolutely disgusts me what he has done to the female servants to put that in my blood. I cry when I see people who hate on the absolutely beautiful ones, in my opinion, who have color in their skin...rather than milky dingy white. I was disowned by my family when I was 16 because I talk to whoever I want. I dated whoever I was attracted to and it literally drove my family crazy. That's their ignorance to deal with, not mine. Be loud and proud of who you are no matter what color your skin is. The different nationalities are what makes it so intriguing.

My favorite is when people who want inclusion insist on going against social norms. Ex: gays and pride... Do you want it to be normalized? Then act like it's normal, don't inconvenience people, don't be loud and proud, just be proud, yet they refuse then expect respect.
@Phobiaphiliac2 ай бұрын
social norms need to be changed. social norms STILL carry racism, sexism, HOMOPHOBIA, and classism along with the boring, normalcy and mediocrity that seem to be the most appealing aspects. social norms are always changing and evolving( albeit too slowly) as society advances into the future. whats abnormal about someone thats gay? do they inconvenience YOU? are they telling YOU how to live? of course they arent. they arent interested in that. they just want to live their life without persecution for something they cant change and shouldnt have to. social norms dont align with morality. social norms are embraced by those who fear change or the unknown. just live your life as youve always been free to do and grant your fellow human the same respect and courtesy. theyre not trying to fuck you, most likey. so leave them alone. theres less of them than there are of us. give them a break already. its ALREADY normal. it always HAS been normal. as far as normalization, worry more about the normalization of mass shootings, violence, ignorance and misinformation. worry about the normalization of stupidity and the support of shitty leaders who are just gonna fuck all of our lives up. stop the normalization of deifying billionaires as "good, smart people" while dismissing anyone who has lost their home as a "lazy, drug addicted, loser". dont exprect respect if you dont show it. you get what you give and you better learn some empathy or youre gonna have a pretty sad, frustrated life, when you really COULD be happier with the world and with yourself.
