Alex turn the water temp down before someone steams themselves. Too hot of water is dangerous and wastes energy trying to keep a too hot water tank. Melissa has the right of it. All the help your kiddos contributed is terrific and they bravely took on the chores. Ms. Linda I hope you enjoyed your visit. I am tempted to send a bar of Fels Naptha for the laundry room. Message for Melissa, Thank you for being soooo understanding and supportive of this endeavor. It may seem a bit dramatic, but we (the viewers) have been truly amazed and blessed by your Family. Some have their own family, but enjoy the journey. Some dont, and these adventures give them something to look forward to. Most just admire the Moxy it takes to ride that destiny train. Nothing worth doing is easy, and most things that are easy aren't worth doing. Happy Easter to you, your family and your subscribers. 💜

The wooden bowls in the attic may be produced by a wood artist made from the burls from trees, if they are they are probably worth a little money. You can usually tell by them having more than one colour . Check to see if the artists name is on the bottom. A friend of my fathers used to make things from burls and they are a lot of work to make, turned on a lathe I seem to remember. I have one and I rub it with olive oil to bring out the warmth and beauty of the wood.

The house is looking amazing. We too have really enjoyed this series. You have such a wonderful family and friends and community that worked on this project. Whoever buys this beautiful home and property will only feel the love of family, friends and neighbours, when they move in. Our small town was taken over by urban sprawl, up until a few years ago, when it was hard to recognize anyone that we knew, due to the influx of new residents from all over Canada. My community has been working hard to bring back that feeling of small town life, where everyone knew one another and where we all pitched in to help our neighbours. It's wonderful to see these values so well displayed in your videos.

I wish I could live in this house steeped in so much history. Again, you have done a beautiful job. I appreciate you leaving one time capsule room. Most people would gut the house and put all new, modern things, thus removing and killing it’s history. People cover up beautiful wood floors, not appreciating their beauty and character. All the little imperfections in homes like this are like wrinkles on our face, they all tell a story of life.

Alex please go on a lengthy, comfortable vacation after this. You have worked so hard with the house, editing, filming, running a small business, and still being an active father. these past few months you remained so positive, i would have been so tired. The commitment its admirable!

You have such a beautiful family inside and out. Your mom looks to young to be your mom. I though you were going to say she was your sister. I am so happy that you are all doing this together. Memories all of you can share. Enjoy every moment you have with them ...time goes buy fast. Enjoy everything God has blessed you with. Hugs and Blessings for all of you .Celebrate each thing. You deserve it.

I Love the blue color of the house. It is a fantastic choice. I found your channel before I knew of the Potter's house. Now I will be a little bit sad to see it end, but I realize you are an antique store owner. Therefore, I will be ready for wherever you take us on your adventures!!!!! I will thoroughly enjoy watching you, Josh and Jakota fix up a general store!! Also, it will be good/healthy for you to stay in your home town and not have to travel so much.Tell Melissa I said Hello & I am keeping an eye out for her channel. Happy Easter, God Bless the family.

All good things must come to a end, and the Potter house series has been one of they good things sadly coming to a end. Watching these episodes has made Canada look very interesting to me, and I really want to visit there soon, Canadians seem like such friendly people. I understand why so many of us Scottish people emigrate there now, the small towns here are very welcoming and friendly as well, so it's seems like a home away from home.

Alex, how about painting the front door the same red color as the interior stairs? That would add local color (pun) and make the house easy to find. Also consider sticking decorative decals on the cleaned and polished sliding glass door leading out to the back deck. This will help prevent adults (and children!) walking full-tilt into the glass slider, thinking it was open. I've seen it happen and done it myself.
