The house is looking amazing. We too have really enjoyed this series. You have such a wonderful family and friends and community that worked on this project. Whoever buys this beautiful home and property will only feel the love of family, friends and neighbours, when they move in. Our small town was taken over by urban sprawl, up until a few years ago, when it was hard to recognize anyone that we knew, due to the influx of new residents from all over Canada. My community has been working hard to bring back that feeling of small town life, where everyone knew one another and where we all pitched in to help our neighbours. The wooden bowls in the attic may be produced by a wood artist made from the burls from trees, if they are they are probably worth a little money. You can usually tell by them having more than one colour . Check to see if the artists name is on the bottom. A friend of my fathers used to make things from burls and they are a lot of work to make, turned on a lathe I seem to remember. It just came to me earlier this week whom Alex resembles. He looks a lot like Donna Reed's TV son, Paul Peterson. The update on the house was also nice as well as unexpected. The Potter's house has been a wonderful adventure.

I almost hate to see it finished. I have enjoyed watching this part of your journey intertwined with Mary’s life.

You predicted 4 episodes and you’re now at 15! My Easter Sunday in Australia just got so much better! I live in an over 100 year old house and you have given me so many great ideas. Our weather is very different. No snow here where I live. It is autumn now and we still hit 27 Celsius today (80 Fahrenheit) . Also no basements or attics. I truly love how all of your family have been involved. It is so good that you have prevented so many items from ending up in land fill. Best wishes to your whole family.

I love the blue paint on the house! Everything is moving along so fast. I really hate to see it end! This series has been so riveting, and I’m going to be so depressed when I don’t have any more episodes to watch! I hope the auction of the pottery is going well!

What a wonderful restoration, I can’t tell how much I have enjoyed watching the return of this house to it’s former grace and beauty and seeing some neat antiques. Alex is so great talking about what he finds and what he is trying to accomplish. What an amazing family and friends that have come together to make and old house a home.

Love the new house color. Looks great. My house the body is white and the trim is blue just a little darker. stone paths are great. I will miss this place when it is done.

Oh my, the things you find that are like part of my childhood. Those fruit plaques...we had them in our dining room. The buttonhole attachment for the Singer sewing machine...I have one of those. It goes with my mom’s 1942 Singer, which I have. That is one more, well made machine. Still works and I plan on showing my granddaughter how to use it. The story record album...we had that, too. It had Noah’s Ark, David and Goliath and many more from the Bible. I’m almost positive that I have that Butterick pattern. I got ALL my mother’s and grandmother’s patterns. Thanks for the trip down memory lane and you didn’t even know we were going, lol. 😉 You have such awesome helpers! I think I’m a little jealous, just kidding. You need and deserve all the help you can get. I love the classic blue you chose for the house. Looking good! I hope y’all have an awesome Easter weekend and GET SOME REST! 😊✝️
