I also respect the integrity you have shown in the way you have respected Mary her family, the town, they house and her work. I believe that you are a good man. The house is looking amazing. We too have really enjoyed this series. You have such a wonderful family and friends and community that worked on this project. Whoever buys this beautiful home and property will only feel the love of family, friends and neighbours, when they move in. Our small town was taken over by urban sprawl, up until a few years ago, when it was hard to recognize anyone that we knew, due to the influx of new residents from all over Canada. My community has been working hard to bring back that feeling of small town life, where everyone knew one another and where we all pitched in to help our neighbours. It's wonderful to see these values so well displayed in your videos.

I wish I could live in this house steeped in so much history. Again, you have done a beautiful job. I appreciate you leaving one time capsule room. Most people would gut the house and put all new, modern things, thus removing and killing it’s history. People cover up beautiful wood floors, not appreciating their beauty and character. All the little imperfections in homes like this are like wrinkles on our face, they all tell a story of life.

Frankly if this house belonged to someone other than Mary it would be better torn down. Everywhere they expose the true bones they are rotten and getting a quick patch and coverup.

The wooden bowls in the attic may be produced by a wood artist made from the burls from trees, if they are they are probably worth a little money. You can usually tell by them having more than one colour . Check to see if the artists name is on the bottom. A friend of my fathers used to make things from burls and they are a lot of work to make, turned on a lathe I seem to remember. I have one and I rub it with olive oil to bring out the warmth and beauty of the wood.

Your mom is so beautiful! Forgive me I haven’t seen every video, so I dont recall seeing her before but when you first panned in on them I was half expecting you to say that was your wife and sister in law. They actually look alike at that angle. Two beautiful women in your life that love you to the moon and back!! Anyway had to drop a comment when you said that was your mommy with Melissa... now we know where you u get your good looks from, she’s a total knockout!

All good things must come to a end, and the Potter house series has been one of they good things sadly coming to a end. Watching these episodes has made Canada look very interesting to me, and I really want to visit there soon, Canadians seem like such friendly people. I understand why so many of us Scottish people emigrate there now, the small towns here are very welcoming and friendly as well, so it's seems like a home away from home.

It just came to me earlier this week whom Alex resembles. He looks a lot like Donna Reed's TV son, Paul Peterson. The update on the house was also nice as well as unexpected. The Potter's house has been a wonderful adventure.

You predicted 4 episodes and you’re now at 15! My Easter Sunday in Australia just got so much better! I live in an over 100 year old house and you have given me so many great ideas. Our weather is very different. No snow here where I live. It is autumn now and we still hit 27 Celsius today (80 Fahrenheit) . Also no basements or attics. I truly love how all of your family have been involved. It is so good that you have prevented so many items from ending up in land fill. Best wishes to your whole family.

Oh my, the things you find that are like part of my childhood. Those fruit plaques...we had them in our dining room. The buttonhole attachment for the Singer sewing machine...I have one of those. It goes with my mom’s 1942 Singer, which I have. That is one more, well made machine. Still works and I plan on showing my granddaughter how to use it. The story record album...we had that, too. It had Noah’s Ark, David and Goliath and many more from the Bible. I’m almost positive that I have that Butterick pattern. I got ALL my mother’s and grandmother’s patterns. Thanks for the trip down memory lane and you didn’t even know we were going, lol. 😉 You have such awesome helpers! I think I’m a little jealous, just kidding. You need and deserve all the help you can get. I love the classic blue you chose for the house. Looking good! I hope y’all have an awesome Easter weekend and GET SOME REST! 😊✝️
