Letting it callous over for me, if im doing a water prop, has always led to the prop dying for me. Directly putting the cutting into water has been the best success rate i have at propping. I personally believe it has to do with the way the plant callouses over.

If my cutting is small enough, i sterilise the cutting before dipping in melted wax (not too hot). Ive found it auper easy since it immediatly seals off the nub drom mousture and helps prevent rot, which i struggle with being so forgetful. @cafedetaza838 ай бұрын
Instead of wait for the callous to form, just put some healing product on it. You can buy it and could be pretty expensive or use the traditional medicine and put some cinnamon all over the cut, blow the excess and reduce the time of drying and also avoid some bacteria and fungus

I have a young monstera variegata albo and it just grew a full white leaf.. wondering if i should wait or cut it now, and if i cut it if it’s ok to cut more than one node without the mother plant reverting back to starting point maturity wise.
