Safety before heading out not only saves what should be a great trip from going bad, it may also save your life. Simple things to address make all the difference. Always take safety seriously.

Great info as always. You cracked me up with the railroad track comment. I have a few bad track crossings in my route and I just creep over them. I treat my 2023 cascadia like and owner even though I’m a company driver! Unfortunately most company drivers drive them like rentals 😂

I have been watching a lot of your videos, and they are good, and a lot of information in them. My wife has been trying to get me to buy one. I have been looking at them but really can not afford $60,0000.00+ for a truck. I used to drive some big trucks, and accully had a CDL till about 2010 when i give it up (because i had not used it in ten years and had no plans to) life changed, and now i have been full time RVing for the last 10 yrs, and pull a 45’ fiver all over the country. I am wearing out my 2012 3500 and we are up to 178,000 mi on it. After watch your videos and other i am thing about trying to find a used Volvo, but don’t know what to look for. Thank you for the video .

When I was a heavy hauler, I always had steering tires all around because when I had wear on the front, I could swap a rear tire and save a lot of money over the life of the tires. I also noticed it had air ride assist on the steers which was a very good option. Will you show what to look for under the hood in another video?

In another video I heard you mention that volvo's were easier to single. Why is that?

Some Kenworth and Freightliner axle suspension sets are a bit more complex, and require some additional work to balance them out. Sometimes the power divider axle and the rear most axle are hung off the same support system. Separating them takes a bit more work - It can be done certainly, but it just takes a bit more cutting and work. Thanks John for the question! You get the gold star today for your attention to detail! Ggg
