Anyone looking for that pump/bracket there is a seller on Ebay, but his price is ridiculous. I bought one from him and then he raised the price 40 bucks. I had to pay 400 bucks for it. I couldn't find one anywhere local so i had to shell out the cash. I noticed the gears on the 5.9l dodge vacuum/power steering pump application had one less tooth than the pump i bought, had the same circumference. I installed it anyways... so far no problems. Just did a 1995 k3500 nv4500 cummins swap, no suspension or body lift, and its intercooled... no a/c yet. Thanks Jonsey for sharing your information on the swaps.

Is the late interior trucks any harder or easier to do the swap than the earlier interior trucks? 95+ vs 94 and down.

Both have pros and cons. At the end of the day you want to start with the cleanest diesel rig if possible.

If I paired a 12v cummins with one of your nv4500 transmissions would I need to do those modifications on the underside to fit the transmission?

I plan on doing this swap on my 88 C3500, it came factory with 454 and no hydro boost will I need to mod anything as far as power steering goes?

Why can’t the stock dodge starter be reused?

The conversion adapters generally use a non-Dodge starter (usually a 6.0 Powerstroke starter). You CAN reuse the Dodge starter if you use a Dodge adapter plate and Dodge auto or NV4500.
