Only way we can ever accomplish anything is if we all come together, our differences in beliefs should be left to Allah to judge. I love shaikh mateen and his story ... wallahi whoever the truth of ahlul bayt a.s touches . It completely takes over the heart and soul .. may allah s.w.t guide our shia brothers and sisters and help us and protect us .. I am in australia . I have been shia all my life alhamdulillah . I have spent 6 years in prison and the last time i really got into my deen and started reading books specially imam ali a.s nahjul balagha and it changed my life completely like 360 degrees around ... we have shia in australian prisons less than sunni . And i remember when i used to tell sunni sheikh to get me certain books and he would even go as far and break his promise . Just so we dont get the tools we need in prisons .. so the hatred for shia is real just like it was real for ahlul bayt a.s .. but i love of idea of second chance books and insha'allah if allah s.w.t guides and helps me we will have it in australia ... and btw i need to contact sheikh mateen ??

For most considered Muslim, they don't know what the difference of the sects really are and or why they identify with one. Systemic racism may be a thing a while into the past, but exceptions and its memory from our parents and grandparents has been used to hold up a blame game and enforce sectarian persecutions. This can result in the persecuted group being larger than it ever would be. Sects don't have to divide, except the differences they show in practices. Each person and place needs regarded in how the will receive and express the message.
