That "film" Matt picked up is not film, they are flash cubes. They are a vintage type of flash bulb, back in the day when you needed a flash to get a good indoor picture. To sell those the buyer would need a camera that takes flash cubes. Each cube has 4 flash bulbs in it and it rotates to a new bulb after you take a picture.

My sister in law and brother in law were resellers since the mid seventies and continued to do so until they passed away I have respect for the thrifters as I know what work goes into bringing the products to the people that aren't able to make it to the flea market and thrift stores God bless you for being there for your followers ❤

I loved Motörhead back in the 80's/90's... my 12 year old has just discovered them too through her drum lessons. She got a digital drum set for Christmas and has truly found her passion. She already plays acoustic & electric guitar and piano. I play myself but never got into the drums but its definitely in her blood. Her great grandad and 2 great uncles were all drummers in a hibernian marching band.

I had that chicken clock in high school in the 90s and still remember the sound of the chicken singing when the alarm went off. I got it at Spencer gifts for $40. I still have it but it fell off of my bed one too many times and no longer works.

I just bought my pages so now I either need a new case or find my old one haha. So fun watching you two!!! I may go back on Ebay fulltime again if I loose my Medi-Cal. Ace of spades singer Lenny Kilmeister basically lived at the RAINBOW bar and grill in Hollywood, he got his mail there.He had an apartment close but never went there much.When he passed they installed a bronze statue of him in the bar as well as his favorite spot at the bar. I, myself, enjoy yard/garage sales and estate sales more than the thrift stores when I shop. However, I still go to thrift stores because you can still find awesome stuff sometimes. Maybe my preference has to do with time of year and weather too, Idk. Usually the prices are better at the sales also. In MT so I really enjoy our short, warm summers and you get to be outside when garage saling. Even though estate sales are 99% indoors we don't get them here during the winters, they probably don't want all the snow and/or mud tracked in on the floors. ✌️

Today is January 1 and yesterday was New Year’s Eve of course and I sold a beautiful heavy very well-made satin stitch, poinsettia in ivory color tablecloth. So yes Christmas is still selling. I am going to do Christmas in July on marketplace this year. I’m trying to get myself geared up to start an eBay account but I don’t have the supplies that it requires so for now I am just nickel and dime my way through every week.

I was wondering if you have any "hospital auxiliary' type of thrift stores in your area. Independent, private little thrift shops. Their prices are still great. The small places have to keep their prices reasonable, because they don't have the space to hoard and wait for top dollar. If you have anything like that, check them out. I don't shop the "big box thrift stores' any more. Salvation Army, Goodwill, Habitat, etc. Their prices have gotten too ridiculous...and I'm not even looking for things to resell. I realize prices on everything have gone up everywhere, but I still think greed is driving the prices up in some of these places. Move it in, move it out. That's how to make money.
