💞💞Also, if you're not familiar with this new musical-- here is a brief synopsis of THE PROM! 💞💞The Prom is a musical with music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin, and a book by Bob Martin and Beguelin, based on an original concept by Jack Viertel. The musical follows four long-ago famous Broadway actors as they travel to the fictional conservative town of Edgewater, Indiana, after reading about a lesbian student who was not allowed to bring her girlfriend to high school prom. They want to help, but mostly they want to soak up the good press and be relevant again.

Enjoyed your post on The Prom. I’m obsessed with this show. The critical word is JOY. You are so entertained during the show - with laughter and tears and laughter again - and walk out with so much joy. There really aren’t many shows like that. Beth Leavel is a force of nature on that stage. Everyone is sure Stephanie J. Block will win, but I’d be happy with a tie!

Honestly, the Best Leading Actress category is SO crazy this year! I really want Stephanie J Block to win, because she just needs one and it blows my mind that she has not won already, but Eva Noblezada, Kelli O’Hara, Caitlin Kinnunen and Beth Leavel being in the same category really makes it unpredictable. Honestly thank you for the tip on gold star, because omg tickets to broadway shows are soooo expensive I wanted to go see mean girls with a friend of mine in February and it was $150 dollars per a seat for a two o’clock performance and the seats wherent even that good
