When I first saw this episode in a 90's rerun I nearly flipped when I saw Georgia Brown. I had only known her for Star Trek TNG when she was older, played a matronly woman. Still very lovely but oh my God in 1964! Hubba hubba

No matter what you might think of Jack Chakrin (Carter) he was one of the most brilliant, sharp and fast thinking comedians of the 20th century and he worked until the end well into this new century.

Did you ever notice that Jack Carter sounded a little bit like Milton Berle? Carter joked about The Beatles who had just made their U.S. debut on the Ed Sullivan show less than two months prior to this telecast. Georgia Brown and a very young Davy Jones were also on that very same Sullivan show performing a medley from "Oliver."

It's good to see a man being a Gentleman,as was Jack Carter when he would stand when the women contestants came on stage and when they left the stage.I am not Daniel typing this in the comment section,I am his wife Ann.

Jack Carter has always gotten on my last nerve, but Georgia Brown is stunning and adorable.

never seen anybody find so many loopholes in one episode as Jack. I counted 5. He found more loopholes then Swiss Cheese.

I'm grateful for these KZbin uploads of Password. I would like them even more if they had the original commercials and didn't have the obnoxious, modern ads at the end. (And "persuades their partner into performing"? You don't persuade someone into doing: you persuade someone to do.)

Allen looks pretty fed up with Jack Carter at 16:19. Carter cheated left and right in this episode.

Yeah. Allen was pretty fed up with Betsy Palmer to (telling her CONSTANTLY to "Just say the word." As ANNOYING as Jack Carter is, I'll still take him over Betsy Palmer ANY day!

What I find with MOST comedians on this show is that SOMETIMES they are so preoccupied with trying to be entertaining and funny, that they do not always play the game well. It is sometimes at the expense of their playing partners. Jack Carter did play well, and I generally like him, but most comedians are just too "ON" for me during the show.

Well what I think Mr Schonfeld is that on that evening he was acting like an obnoxious horse’s backside. I’ve seen him on other episodes of Password and he was generally nice and well behaved. I strongly suspect that night he was either strung out on cocaine or drunk. He was literally manic. He kept talking over everyone. I felt really sorry for Georgia Brown and the contestants. It was clear that Allen was becoming very angry as well. I wonder if she ever appeared in the show after that night. I’ve only seen her on it a few times.

Jack Carter is hilarious, but he cheated on this game. No doubt.

well, I gave it 3 min. 38 sec., but I have to go. Jack Carter, while not as loathsomely annoying as Jerry Lewis, comes close. These "comics" who can never turn off must be such miserable people

Yes he was in the Jerry Lewis zone for sure. One of the best pairs here was Betty White (the gold standard) and Frank Gifford - both so sincere

Indeed he was not. He always had a far higher opinion of himself than his 'talent' warranted.
