Did the tumeric add any flavour or just for coloring?

Turmeric is only used to colour the pasta, so I didn't put it directly in the cooking oil of the sauce. However I made a mistake I removed the root from the water before lowering the pasta. Instead I had to leave her inside until the pasta was cooked, 🙄 maybe the colour would have been stronger! 🤗

Maybe you should have added more turmeric to make it work?
