Fun Fact: Theres an alternate introduction to the first zombie with Jill. After talking to Barry in the dining room, try to go back to Wesker and it will prompt a line from Barry. Walk back to Barry, passing the clock hiding the shield key and the zombie will enter the dining room. Found this out playing Deadly Silence years back.

But watching you're videos over the years I learn so much from your playthroughs that it actually help me out alot. Pants were shat in droves when my 11 year old self watched some family friends play this game back in 1996. These days it seems so silly. It wasn't until I was 14 and I got the OPM demo disc with Silent Hill on it that I got into survival horror myself though.

Well I didn't say it was only MY pants that were shat... even those family friends who were adults about had heart attacks at things like the dog hallway that Pat calmly narrated in this video. Good times. I had some NES games that scared me too, mostly a point and click adventure game called The Uninvited that went into graphic text detail on how exactly this horrible ghost/rabid dog/zombie/giant spider/etc was murdering you. That and the "danger" music track were big nopes to the tiny 6-year old gaminggoddess85.

RE4 Ada and Revelations Jill? you'd think by this point I'd have a pavlovian reaction everytime i see pat and just taste disappointment automatically, but no pat has to instill it himself and he's good at that. the best RE girl is Sheva, No question, completely objective, indisputable. PS: my dad got me this game when i was 7 year old. This game scared me so goddamn much. every room was a sweat bleeding, pants pissing, trial. i still get a whiff of that childhood trauma fear when i play it. did i beat it? actually yeah. Did i have fucked up nightmares for a while? oh hell yeah. i still do, but now i like them. BTW my dad is also the reason the first movie i ever remember seeing is terminator 2. my dad had a violent intolerance of disney movies

Added the auto-target? I think you mean it was put back in, being that it was deliberately removed from the original western release to make it more difficult. Also, most of or all of the voice actors are not the live actors seen in the fmv cutscenes. For example, Barry's live actor is an Australian but his voice actor is ... Swedish or something like that. I'm pretty sure Jill's voice actress is Canadian, but the mystery actress in the fmv might not be (?). Anyway, those actors got dubbed super hard. And the first names in the credits are of the live actors. The voice actors went uncredited. Did you know Chris Redfield's original voice actor was the late Scott McColluch of Castlevania SotN "Die monster! You don't belong in this world!" fame? Yes, Chris Redfield was also Richter Belmont! (edit: That being said, I didn't know these things until the Internet told me. So they must be true.)
