Why is blaming Mia so much? It was the guy that died who lost Evelyne wasn't it? Mia was dealing with something else or sending a message to Ethan for a few minutes, I thought. Mia didn't create Evelyne, she was just a transporter. Having two people transport her in the first case instead of an entire squad was more of the issue. Unless you were going to send somebody like Wesker along with it which I would assume he could handle any job by himself. I'm guessing he's saying she was transporting without legal authorization an illegal WMD. I don't really recall who she was working for or what they were authorized to do. I think it's mentioned in one note in "Not A Hero".

... there's been a bunch of games lately where you channel Big Papa Energy to fight bad dudes to save your kid. Walking Dead, Last of us (1), RE-Village. Playing as Rose and watching Papa-mold-man Ethan Winters shotgun monsters in the face while screaming " _Get your hands off my daughter you bitch!_ " is a new energy, and i'm here for it. Rather than "I'll protect you Rose!" followed by "No, I'll protect you, dad!" i'd have rather seen a sick-ass tag-team battle.

Pat talks about how he knows that the ammo stuff is his biggest mind-goblin, but he also says things like "Yeah, there's no way I could fight all of those guys, I'd run out of bullets" while holding like 20+ rounds. Yeah, he'd have been really low after killing them, but that's why the game throws stacks of bullets at you between rooms full of enemies. It was the same in signalis too where he had more stun-batons than he could use but refused to use even one in favour or just sneaking past everything.

Pat's whole 'freak class' idea is easier said than done. He mentions Sherry, but at this point in the timeline Sherry is closing in on 40. Having a bunch of biomutants kids over a multi decade period is one thing, but realistically how many do you think they would have at the same time, in the same age group? And for that matter how many of them would even speak the same language? And even if you solve all those logistical issues, there is still the slight issue that it is THE DUMBEST IDEA ANYONE HAS EVER HAD! Oh sure, let's gather up the living incubators for every world ending virus, parasite, and fungal infection we've ever found, and put them IN THE SAME ROOM. What could ~possibly~ go wrong?

Mia knowingly worked for a company making a bioweapon in the shape of a little girl, and knowingly transported said girlweapon undercover on a boat with civilians. She's not as directly responsible as say the people who made Eve, but she definitely made conscious decisions to "do the illegal bad thing"

So Rose the mold girl has to mind-meld with a tank of bio goo into a fantasy world where she can cast magic missile at monsters, so she can find the Purifying Crystal, and THAT'S how we find out that the world of Resident Evil is actually just Ivalice and the whole franchise is a prequel to FF12 and Tactics. I didn't care for roses slow powers and I didn't come away from the story thinking I had learned anything new for the plot, and I think the price point was high for roughly 2 hours of gameplay. I do think its got one or the best boss fights in a resident evil game though. So yes overall I think its a bad dlc. But if you enjoyed it I'm happy for you.

Feels like the megamycete is just fucking magic. With all the other games it straddled that weird line of "That's fucking silly, but I can see it". Everything regarding the mold is just magic to make the plot work. Also, the Mold needs to take hold of you while you're still cognicent, right? If you die before the mold can get to you, it only gets a husk. Biomatter to eat. Eva died and was left to rot as Miranda searched, which led to her discovering the mold by accident. So Eva's thoughts/memories aren't even IN the Mold. So everything Miranda did was never going to work in the first place, something she should have known as SHE is the one who researched it. So why did she bother with everything? It was never going to work in the first place, because there was nothing to bring back.

I mean, science is currently exploring the idea that mushrooms have a connected network of "roots" through witch they communicate with each other. "Mind palace that can store dead people's memories" isn't that far of a stretch. Wesker already did the teleporty speed stuff. Growing giant mold tentacles is no more extravagant of a "speed growth" example that all the shit the T or G virus have done. The only other really "magic" thing is the stun, but that's inside the dream so can be taken as a visual representation of her just "connecting" to the mold to control it.

To add onto pat's Rose X-men discussion (god she's not cool or interesting enough to even be a inhuman) I find it hard to believe that Rose couldn't find a single friend because kids love weird shit; I was and seen kids; boys and girls collect bugs and frogs and put them in their pockets and the idea that not a single kid saw her mold powers and went "oh shit you have powers!?" Is the most unrealistic thing in this series about zombies, vampires and super powered mutants. Where even are Jake and Sherry? I rather see more of them than rose.
