I have just learned to crochet. Also I have learned after my first project of crochet to do tunisian crochet. Thank you so much for the very in depth explanation of what I should see and what I'm looking at. The section on reading the pattern was so much help I think I can make this. ❤ thank you! I'm off to yarn shop now.

I love the way your project is constructed! Thank you so much for the tutorial. One suggestion that comes to mind might be to decide what the first row of the border will be an make first one or maybe two rows TSS in that color. Then first row changing of colors will not be quite as fiddly. I will give it a try, I hope it works like I envisioned.

Hello Laurie. Thank you so much for your comment and feedback. Doing a border like that is a brilliant idea. I agree 100% that it will eliminate that fiddly on the foundation row with all the color changes. But, if you are up for a challenge, you can fiddle. Have you started yet and how is your progress doing?

Thanks! The first row or two of any project always takes the most patience. I've got this on my to do list. I should try to finish at least 1 WIP before I tackle this. Your projects are great inspiration.

Hello Cheryl, There is indeed a simple way to add length and width to a Tunisian Crochet piece. Are you familiar with the entrelac technique? I designed a blanket earlier this year to be part of a Tunisian Along which now will only take place in the new year. There I will teach you the different methods of entrelac and how to use it in different manners. You will be able to use this technique to add size to your blanket.
