That cop was an absolute f u c k i n g dooshbag. You think he would have reacted the same way if he smashed a girl’s camera for filming against his will? Definitely not. If you aren’t being touched or threatened, you don’t get to act like that just because you don’t like a person. The couple was obviously under no danger at all and asking for a girl’s number with a funny t shirt on doesn’t mean you get to act like a rotten f**king sour puss. That absolute pot bellied vampire goblin is lucky he didn’t get maced.

I think that’s being a little nice. Mosquitos play a vital role in our ecosystem and without them many plants and animals rely on them to survive. What a chad.

@@Bert_Bertsson “Disturbing the peace” is a shitty law that just allows cops to arrest anyone they want on bullshit grounds. If it’s a public place then people should be protected from cops abusing laws in that way. Regardless, disturbing the peace is not an offence that deserves an immediate arrest. You’d get a warning and only if you ignored it would there be an arrest. Destruction of property is a much more serious offence.

The worse thing about "Pranksters" is that, lets say for the sake of argument that every single person they harass on the beach is polite, kind, and nonreactive to their pranks; How do we think that "Prankster" is going to react to this? Will the "Pranksters" simply nod at the camera and call it a good day's work? FUCK NO! They will Escalate! If people aren't reacting to their script, they will CHANGE THE SCRIPT and turn up the heat! That's the whole fucking point. Eventually they will find a temperature where tempers boil, and then cry like little babies when they get burned.

My theory for prank channels is that they're just a natural progression of high school bullies after graduation who have no idea what to do with their lives. Not the only one, sometimes they go into the military or have an awakening and actually grow up or end up in prison, but this certainly is a path for them if their parents can afford the bill. I remember when I used to get bullied, I swear these prank channels say like the exact same shit in the exact same tone of voice. Like when you get mad, they're suddenly like "I'm just joking yo". Long story short, when these individuals can no longer get away with making their peers' lives a bit worse for their own game, they instead go on to make the public's lives a bit worse for their own gain

Wow that was handled really well honestly. No physical fight, no one got injured, just a casual mic toss into the ocean. He didnt even try to get it to see if it could have worked, or atleast been repaired. Seems like he willingly let his mic be swept into the ocean to have more to complain about, even if it was broke, having it broke probably would have been cheaper to repair then getting a brand new one

@@unitedstars1117 I agree with you 100%. I feel like pranksters who do this stuff take on the attitude of 'You can't touch me, you can't touch me. I can be as annoying as I want but as long as I don't touch you or your stuff, you can't touch me or my stuff." The problem with this is that the prankster is taking on an antagonistic role, being the biggest asshole to this guy who is NOT being an asshole to him. And by doing this, going as far as 'he can go' where the guy's got no response to punish the prankster that falls short of damage to property or physical abuse... the prankster is leveraging this triggering situation. The prankster is relying on this person not going into the 'physical assault' or 'damage to property' area of response. And short of that, what the prankster is doing is the most damaging behavior short of that stuff. We can all understand the urge to shut this guy up or find a way to make him regret what he's doing. The loss of expensive equipment, or a good solid hook across the jaw is a natural consequence for what he's doing. but because the act of doing those things 'should be considered crimes'... he's hoping people 'want to do that stuff to him' but have to restrain themselves. I feel like that's why he felt so comfortable telling the cops: "I feel like there should be consequences for damage to property." On its own that sentence is 100% accurate and acceptable. What the cops have here is a situation where what might have happened constitutes a crime, but 'hey' it happened to a troll and it could be argued the troll was bringing this onto himself, so it's an 'unenforced' crime. The cops simply refuse to enforce the law in this case because what this guy was doing understandably makes people around him angry. It's just fascinating to see how all the elements of this encounter play out. - The troll being an absolute dick to people. - People reaching their breaking point, and NOT being limited by a ceiling of actions that constitute crimes. In this case, damage to property. - The partial restraint shown not to physically hurt the troll (even though there were threats to do it). - The cops deciding NOT to side with the person who's property was damaged because what he was doing, while not illegal, is still inflammatory. You stir the wind, you reap the whirlwind. So all of these individual events in this overall situation are just interesting to witness. But yes, you are 100% correct, the prankster really does have himself to blame for pushing people this hard, and assuming that they'll be limited in their response.

While I can agree with that, I don't think the damages would be worthy of pursuing even collectively for the plaintiffs' side. It may also just be a waste of time even if they have a clear chance of winning. Not everything has to involve lawsuits. It's good enough to have the prankster arrested or fined, or at the very least, banned from entering spaces like beaches. But that's just my take on that.
