though you didn't see the second part, the funny part is when he was at the airport he forgot he had the knife in his pocket and going through the detector it went off cause of the knife. TSA looks at the knife, looks at him, and say "ah you can keep it".

Oh my gosh. I have been friends with a gal an Aussie gal for over 20 years. I adore her but she calls it likes she sees it. She has a heart as big as anyone I know and I love her for her speaking her mind. I even used a story she told me about her marriage at my mom's funeral. They were getting ready on an island and the electricity was going on and off. Her mom commented while smoking a cigatette with a towel wrapped around her head that she had been married to her dad for over 20 years. Her mom mused she would have done less time if she had killed him. Marriage is hard and I thanked my mom for not killing my dad. She lost her mum now but sounds like she was as much as a pistol as her daughter.❤

My first of Gabriel's routines (and still my favorite) is Fluffy Popular With Bears. It's not what it sounds like. Trust me. :D And if you've never seen Robin Williams's standup, you should. Just get ready to laugh yourself sick and then be sad that he's gone. I still miss his humor so much. George Carlin is also gone but was around much earlier than Robin and gave us some incredibly funny bits, like Seven Words You Can't Say on Television (and may not be able to play uncensored on KZbin). Been to Australia several times and have many aussie friends. If you are thin skinned like many Americans you may not like their humor and outright honesty like it or not. I think they are great friends, like to drink and also like to fight! Very loyal to America but not crazy about the brits!

I spent 6 weeks in Australia about 6 years ago, and really didn't notice the rudeness that you mentioned. But then, maybe I just blended in.....I don't know. I think Aussies are a little more open, but not that much more, and not rude at all. Loved it there.

You Aussie’s aren’t rude you just tell it how it is. I love the no nonsense way or at least it used to be like that. The Brit’s used to have a bit more of a backbone when it came to speaking your mind but now everyone is afraid invade they offend someone.
