Larry’s a great guy. I met him on one of the Pattaya Forums and he invited me to check out Secrets on my first visit. He treated me great like he knew me when I visited. I was invited to the Secrets NYE Party my next trip and it was a blast! I still have a T-Shirt from it and some pictures.

That's depends on how long she stays. Age is not the same stigma as in USA or Europe. Seniority is a recognised concept in Asia. In a country where you can *not* own anything (land) pre-payment is a very fragile approach.

More to the point, what can you have in common with a 20 year old Thai lady at 70? And what does she find attractive in you? Let's not confuse lust and love. My own experience, limited as it is. Is that I tend to get on far better with the ladies closer to 40. And sometimes older. Eye candy is great, but love requires a lot more than just looks. That's my take anyway.

Some of my most memorable experiences with a group of mates from Australia happened in Baby doll's. Some things you just never knew before that mate's would do. What a place. The girls were always great fun.it was the best by mile's. Great video again Trev.

Babydolls was a delightful place for good times. I've managed a strip club in the states and it's not what guys think it's all about. No we aren't Hugh Heffner or a pimp. We are baby sitters for catty woman. Yeah, I hung out in the dressing room from time to time but I never got my honey where I got my money. I was more of a big brother than a boss. In my day I got a gal off of drugs that really made the job worth it. Smartest thing I did was make the oldest dancer "mamasan" to deal with the woman. Best thing I ever did. With 12 gals, she really made life easy.

I. O. M. 👍 did 5 laps of the mountain course on mad Sunday in 2001... the only year the TT was cancelled due to Hoof & Mouth (except the war years and this year)😥 Had a speed limit & radar thru towns but as is normal none outside towns. Weird passing safety Police cars at 200+ 5555🤣 Great to be trackside at Creg-ny-baa with a cold Guinness in hand watching guys wheelie 3 or 400 meters down the hill, and some of the hair raising wobbles when they sit the front wheel down 😯😯

@@iomtilt Yes, too bad no races, NW 200 cancelled as well😟, of course I booked the trip about 6 months in advance, before they made the decision to cancel the event, so I had to go!. 😟 Flew my bike over from Vancouver on the same plane and did 3 months 20,000 km around GB and Europe. Then back from Frankfurt to Montreal, out to Halifax for a bit of fresh Lobster, then the full width of Canada back to Victoria (~6000 miles). Great way to see GB & Europe 😀

Great chat interview again Larry looks like a nice guy his stories were very amusing. A lot of people who first arrive in Pattaya it blows there rational and common sense right out the window. The story about they Aussie guy buying the house up country I’ve heard this situation happen so many times with some very sad outcomes. But as my dear old Dad used to say Buyer Beware and the only thing about common sense is it’s not not very common especially in the Love game in Pattaya. I was never "in the industry" but starting going to Pattaya in 2004... around the same time as Larry. I stayed away for 10 years and started going again in 2017 right up until Covid. Still fun but completely different vibe from the early 00's.

I think I went to Babydolls in 1991 .. was it there then ? Best looking bunch of young women translators I’ve ever seen in Thailand.. a massive climbing frame and great sound system .. So much beer passed my lips since then (until 3 years ago ), that I’ve forgotten a lot .. but that place is etched in my memory .. 🥳😇🙏

First met Larry at a function arranged by a Pattaya based forum about 2005 or 2006 at a bar on Soi Diamond. From the first greeting/ handshake he was a guy you instantly liked. Certainly one of the nicest people ever met in Pattaya. Admit though was never a big fan of Secrets. But certainly liked Baby Dolls. Very good interview. Thanks.

Really been looking forward to this Trev. No idea that there were web forums about Secrets !. Spent a few nights in there, very enjoyable back in the day, good bunch of lads. Larry , regardless how tired he was would always have time for a chat, the trademark of a great manager and decent guy. "Paying for the illusion" - All newbies need that stamped in their passports!!. I've got a few stories about Babydolls, Larry's right, Ricky was "Mr Babydolls" , made the place infamous!, from a customers point of view, Larry ran the place really well, and added his own slant on the bar and management, which kept the bars popularity. Always a fair, approachable guy and the fun level in the bar was top draw. Good tip re taking pics. I've seen Thai security take a phone from an Indian guy caught taking pics, and microwave it, then hand it back to the customer.

15 or so years ago there was a TV show called Big Trouble in Thailand. One episode featured Baby Dolls where a couple were busted filming the girls. Howard from the tourist police got involved to hose the situation down, their excuse was a friend of theirs back home was trying to find a particular girl who was last heard of working in that bar & to help him out they agreed to film all the girls in there one night. They were very lucky to get their camera back on the proviso they deleted all that footage.

Can you do a video about what expat do for a living in Thailand? Many ofcourse retired but I think many are not and have to support themelves. Bar, resturant owners, english teacher, work for a western company or whatever. I would have done same as in Sweden and work as a daytrader (I would have be up 2,30 every morning then😎). Houndreds of different possibillities but I think you know a lot of people down there and sen some examples in your videos but if you could do a video more generally it would be great.

Hey Trev, great video again and very entertaining. Larry has some amazing experiences! Two of my observations though of little to no importance..... 1. The wrestling on the TV in the background was really distracting, and 2. I always found Go-Go bars though visually entertaining, use to ruin my ear drums :-( so normally I would sit outside and have a drink and chat to the girls when they came out for a smoke, plus I could have a conversation outside which was near impossible inside. Shame you couldn't share some photos of those places Trev :-S
