I started crying when I heard this just now. I’m 67 years old, a white boy from the South, and this song came out when I was in college. It was - and still is - what we used to call “heavy”. Thanks, Paul Carrack. RIP, Marvin.

I to feel you. Marvin was a visionary . His songs spoke about reality and what was coming. Ironically look at life as it is today and I see Marvin in all of it. Marvin was phenomal a gifted song writer that spoke of things he seen through Gods lenses. He tried to prepare the world to teach the world the only way is to Love one another as God Loved us but in his own gifted way. Gone to soon. I still listen to Marvin amongst others like Etta James , Teddy Barry the list in my music files is endless. Mudic tbat we could relate to music that spoke to our souls. Rest in Power Marvin. Your footprints remains in tbe hearts of so many in all walks of life. Never forgotten... Rest in Eternal Light Rest in Love..😭🙏🙌❤
