My life wouldnt be the same without Paul Gilbert, whether it was first seeing him on the special total guitar Dvd and introducing me to Shred, right up to buying this bluray at his gig in Bristol a year or two after it was made. He brings so much joy to guitar playing and never stops smiling. I love you Paul, and I hope you are well.

He is the best as far as I'm concerned. When he played here in Vegas the last time I went up to the owners of the club where he played (husband and wife) and the husband said to me "well somebody has got to be the best!" And he is a national recording artist so he knows a thing or two about music. His wife then said to me "how come you never told me (she knows I am a huge PG fan)?" I said to her "I thought you already knew." She books all the bands at the club so she knows a thing or two about music. Rock on \m/

What an incredible show! Really happy you managed to capture it in such high quality, thank you! Kicking myself as I didn't grab a Blu-ray copy when I saw him in Manchester 2019! Thanks for uploading anyway! Also, what`s the story on your copy of the Ibanez Kikusui Fireman guitar!? Looks awesome! All the best to you
@squicker3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Yes, the Kika Sui is my favourite of Paul's guitars and I got one made by a replica firm, can't remember who it is but I can look it up if you are interested. I fed them some details around the guitar because I took a good look at it when Paul last brought it over. There are a few things to change, the bridge is different for example, also I need to change the volume and tone knobs because the originals are genuine Kika Sui bottle caps mounted on corks that are on the pot spindle. But Kika Sui sake is hard to get here in the UK, so I intend to buy some for Paul on the proviso he gives me the bottle caps (it's one of the few things Paul drinks)! One thing I will tell you is the neck on my replica is NOT at all like the real thing, the neck on Paul's is a proper baseball bat of a thing and mine is a fast and narrow neck, which I do prefer as I have way smaller hands than Paul, but don't we all!?
@craigtheibanezaddict3 жыл бұрын
@@squicker Thank you for your reply! That`s really cool, I would love to know who they are, but don`t want to take too much of your time! It`s great that you got to adjust some things to suit you (like the size of the neck) and it looks like they did an amazing job! I hope you manage to get hold of some sake and get those bottle caps haha!
