This is a fantastic live record of McCartney's amazing catalog. The band is absolutely great, and today's technology makes it possible for 5 guys with minimal instrumentation to reproduce every song like it originally sounded. So good.

I have been to a few events in my life. Some great, some pure rubbish. This concert, hands down, was the epitome of an amazingly well coordinated, massively attended and clean phenomenal gathering. Nothing else I have been to since has lived up to this event. Rush's impromptu concert in Red Deer in light of the Calgary flood is a close second but otherwise. Music, logistics, you name it. Quebec City Anniversary Paul McCartney concert wins the ultimate cup.

Merci pour ce vidéo du concert donné à Québec par Pau McCartney en 2008. Je l'avais vu à la télé mais je suis bien contente de l'avoir retrouvé ici. Très bonne qualité de vidéo et quel beau souvenir!!! Merci!

Lyrics: Got To Get You Into My Life, Blackbird ====================== Got To Get You Into My Life ====================== I was alone, I took a ride I didn't know what I would find there Another road where maybe I could see another kind of mind there Ooh, then I suddenly see you Ooh, did I tell you I need you Every single day of my life You didn't run, you didn't lie You knew I wanted just to hold you And had you gone you knew in time we'd meet again For I had told you Ooh, you were meant to be near me Ooh, and I want you to hear me Say we'll be together every day Got to get you into my life What can I do, what can I be When I'm with you I want to stay there If I'm true I'll never leave And if I do I know the way there Ooh, then I suddenly see you Ooh, did I tell you I need you Every single day of my life Got to get you into my life Got to get you into my life I was alone, I took a ride I didn't know what I would find there Another road where maybe I could see another kind of mind there Then suddenly I see you Did I tell you I need you Every single day? ======== Blackbird ======== Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly All your life You were only waiting for this moment to arise Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these sunken eyes and learn to see All your life You were only waiting for this moment to be free Blackbird fly, blackbird fly Into the light of the dark black night Blackbird fly, blackbird fly Into the light of the dark black night Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly All your life You were only waiting for this moment to arise You were only waiting for this moment to arise You were only waiting for this moment to arise

More rhan two hours long but still too many great songs (both as a beatle and a solo artist) left out. Just goes to show how vast his repertoire is. I would have loved to hear No More Lonely Nights, Ebony & Ivory, Say Say Say, With a Little Luck, Maybe Im Amazed, I Will, We Can Work It Out, Golden Slumbers.
