Considering all the iterations this tune went through, I still think it's one of the greatest tracks that Paul wrote, particularly considering the Beatles' time period. Granted, it took connections to get it recorded with a string ensemble as it was ( thanks to George Martin) but the people in Paul's sphere obviously knew that he was a very special person and made things happen for him. It's a piece of history that will not be repeated.

I had to prove a point that Paul didn't die in a car crash when I stumbled upon this priceless gem. I saw this show at ASU, second row, when Linda was still very much alive, and...it was Paul. Great video.

I always thought that Sir MacCa hated the version produced by Mr. Spector, however 2:41 here is a clear emulation of Spector's version ... well, life is full of ironies and contradictions. Without a doubt, the original version of this classic is the one included in the original 1970 Let it Be album. An amazing display of production and composition. Cheers from Lima, the Grey City!

Are you kidding me ? I thought this song was perfect before. It has so much more feeling here . I saw Paul three times on this tour. This version is nothing short of mesmerizing. Absolutely beautiful. Now I know why he was upset with Phil Spector.
