This is why women with low iron and hormonal issues is an epidemic these days. They've been fooled into malnutritous plant diets. Some vegans say losing your period on a plant based diet is normal and healthy... No it's not!! It's a danger sign of extremely low iron.

This advice changed my life! I’m a 57 year old Registered Nurse who went from being slim, vibrant, and healthy to having oxalate poisoning, bone demineralization, weight gain, constant hunger back to vibrant, healthy, and slim. I started eating only meat and first I oxalate dumped, kidney stones, the whole set of symptoms including debilitating fatigue and arthritic pain. All I could do was stand on my feet at the hospital for 12.5 hours then go home with NSAID’s and a heating pad. I went from doing yoga 45 minutes several days a week and working as a bedside nurse to only working and resting. The weight followed, then insulin resistance!!!!! I was a mess. I was brainwashed to eat granola and almond flour and live on spinach. I was a mess! I cleaned up my life, my diet, went carnivore and have never looked back. I started intermittent fasting to lose the weight. BEEF ORGANS by Heart and Soil. Thank you Dr. Saladino!

It's taken me a long time and a lot of research to get here. I'm highly suspicious that my acne was being caused by almonds, eggs or peanut butter; or a combination thereof. I appreciate all your content talking about how plants can trigger these issues. In the past I bought "Smart Mushrooms" it gave me diarrhea. I am throwing out "Smart Mushrooms". 51:12 - SEED OILS 54:49 - I so appreciate this man’s knowledge and dedication to these health topics. No other doctor I know cares enough to memorize the amounts of Linoleic Acid in the different seed oils and the molecules involved. 56:49 - The average American eats 5 tablespoons of seed oil per day. How many carbs of corn does it take to create 5 tablespoons of corn oil? ANSWER: it takes 60-90 cobs of corn. 58:20 - Humans store LINOLEIC ACID in adipose tissue (in our fat). So Why Is Linoleic Acid bad? Because we store it. Accumulates in ourselves and our membranes, and our skin, which is really important for anyone that goes out in the sun. And this is a problem because our bodies can’t get rid of it easily. If you were to stop eating seed oils today, it takes two years to turnover all of that over out of your body. 1:00:41 - WHATS THE BEST WAY TO AVOID SEED OILS WHEN YOYR EATING OUT? 40:45 - NUTMILKS (COCONUT MILK): A lot of people are afraid of milk because they think they are lactose intolerant. Raw milk contains the enzyme lactase. Someone with lactose intolerance could start with very small amounts of raw milk to gain back the ability to digest it. If you’re sensitive to lactose and you want to start with dairy, you can get Raw Kefir which is a fermented milk. The difference between Kefir and yogurt, yogurt is fermented at a higher temperature, kefir is fermented at room temperature. And KEFIR is fermented longer than yogurt and has different organisms in it. So RAW KEFIR would also be an interesting thing to think about for your gut.

18:03 - ACNE: is absolutely auto immune. It’s not that your face is not clean enough. And this is exactly what he is thinking about, someone like her, and He’s hoping this content will reach those types of people because maybe it’s something in your diet that’s triggering your auto immune response. And this is a simple, free, easily accessible way to say “maybe I’ll just cut this out for three or four weeks and see how it goes”. And then, if it doesn’t help you can incorporate it back. This is what makes him so excited because it’s empowering for people when they hear this, “oh maybe kale is causing my thyroid issues”…“maybe spinach is causing my joint pain”. “Maybe almonds are triggering my acne.” There are foods that can trigger acne in people and it is an autoimmune thing.

46:00 - PAUL SALADINO on FRUITS. The fruit is the part of the plant that the plant want us to eat. They change color when they are ripe. Not always, but often. Plants are giving us a signal like “this is ripe”. And we see that in those fruits, many times the plant will put defense chemicals which decline as the fruit ripens. The plant is really saying, “wait wait wait it’s not ready, don’t eat this.” For example, a ripe mango taste 100 times better than a green mango. So plants are giving us the signal when they want us to eat the fruit. And the plant wants to be spread so with a mango, you can’t eat the seed and it will wind up someplace else. But for example, with a strawberry, the plant is going to put so many seeds around it so that some of it passes through your poop and hopefully gets planted to grow somewhere after you have pooped it out. And so the idea is that, in general, fruit is clearly the least toxic part of plants. Relative or in contradistinction to things like leaves, stems, seeds, and roots… and those are the things that Paul thinks people should be most careful of. Leaves like spinach or kale and roots like spinach or white potato or especially problematic for people.

14:09 - OATMEAL: Glyphosate, Pyrethroid, & other Pesticides. Glyphosate is one of the more commonly used pesticides. It inhibits some of the enzymatic processes involving folate in the human gut and it appears to be damaging for the human gut directly. There are so many pesticides, glyphosate is really the tip of the iceberg, it’s the one that gets the most press and it contaminates a lot of things. But there are so many pesticides. So you could say, oh but I could get organic oats”. But even if you get organic oats you are still dealing with Phytic Acid, saponins, and other problematic things in the oats. The Saponins are found in quinoa and they’re found in oats and they clearly damaged the gut. You can see it in Cell culture, in animal and rodent models. They are just not good for the human gut at all and they are defense chemicals and they are not denatured by cooking.

I’ve been drinking raw dairy since 2008. I do get breakouts, but I suspect I’ve simply been eating too much sugar. I’ve just started a low-carb carnivore way of eating that excludes all grain and “sugar”. I mean, I gave up banana nut bread, carrot cake muffins, blueberry muffins, lemon and cranberry muffins, blueberry crepes, and the rare waffle with pecans and corn syrup, and now bread (including rye bread, which I love). I suspect those sweets-I had some every day, oh, and cereal with blueberries nearly everyday for breakfast-were the biggest cause of my gas, bloating, acne, and lack of energy. I also had to give up even decaf coffee because it gives me a scaly rash on my derriere. After two weeks, the rash seems to be healing. The dairy I get from a farm coop that has an A2 herd-100% Jersey cows. It makes a delicious (if you like tartness) kefir. Jersey milk has more fat and 20% more protein than Holstein milk. So more nutrient dense. The butter and heavy cream are, sorry to say, strong and gamey, but the milk, kefor, and farmer’s cheese are wonderful. My local grocery store still carries “fresh” heavy cream, defined as only pasteurized once-all the other brands are ultrapasteurized. Nothing would convince me to avoid dairy as long as I have a source of raw dairy.

What’s the name/location of the farm in NJ? I actually live near Jersey and would like to give it a try.
@nothanksmegan6 ай бұрын
Raw milk in the USA is tested for one (you really think farmers want to hurt people - LOL ok). Secondly, NO ONE is telling anyone to get raw milk from a conventional farmer - you wouldn't even be able too. But from a small pasture-raised family farm that uses clean practices? Yes. As a pregnant lady, I am drinking raw milk but it is a personal choice, I am also eating high quality sushi, runny yolks, organic grass-fed uncured deli meat, pineapple, soft cheese, liver etc etc. That is a personal decision because nutrients matter.

I am carnivore for a week.. I don't ever drink coffee.. if/when I have tried fruit before during carnivore.. I found I was over stimulated and didn't feel well either and I think it had to do with not working out enough for how many fruits/honey I was taking. I am wondering if the AMOUNT of fruit and honey you are injesting.

The issue with olive oil is its smoke point, which is low. Once it smokes, it has officially turned into trans fat! Got this from a video by Dr. Paul Lustig. I was sorry to learn this because I love Greek food, and its all swimming in olive oil; I mostly buy Greek-origin oil from kalamata olives. But now it’s use is confined to Greek salad (romaine and chicken, feta) now I’m avoiding the tomatos and green pepper.

Hey folks , I'm wondering if Sunflower Lecithin is ok?... ... Because I'm also wondering if DMSO is more transdermal than MCT oil? The lecithin being the emulsifier to bind the Tallow to the DMSO. Any thoughts?

I always thought acne was a hormonal issue especially in preteen adolescents because their bodies are changing. Yes some have it way worse than others so it’s nothing to do with hormones?
@lifeofsidneyroberts2 ай бұрын
diet effects hormones if a teen is eating eating junk food and soda its gonna make their acne worse, high insulin (from eating too much sugar) can directly cause over production of sebum which causes acne

My experience has been different . I eat a TON of veggies /plants. 🥕 they are high in fiber and a wide variety of micronutrients! I developed a second autoimmune disease recently . The first Hypothyroidism was when I was on a high animal protein diet ( including organ meats ). Now I’m doing a AIP diet (no dairy, grains , legumes , nightshades or nuts, no processed foods ). I eat a ton of leafy greens 🥬, fruits and seafood . I’ve seen a lot of improvement.

Some places, like Sprouts I think?, sell raw milk "for pets" that you can get. They just aren't allowed to market to people but it's the same thing. Paul has a video about it somewhere

How about eating everything in moderation? Meat, fish, some carbs, fruit, veggies? What happened to that?
@CC86CA7 ай бұрын
The “everything in moderation” narrative was a lie fed to us by big food companies, the sugar industry, and the seed oil industry. You can eat rat poison in moderation and it won’t kill you right away, but why would you even do that? The same logic goes for many things sold to us as “food.”

15:27: PHYTIC ACID: And then you have Phytic Acid which is a big molecule that chelates, it means it bites onto minerals, and maybe 30 to 40% of the Phytic Acid gets denatured when you cook oatmeal, but it is still 60% to 70% of that Phytic Acid is still there. So the problem with Phytic Acid is that if you’re eating the oats with anything that you’re hoping to get ZINC, CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM, or any of the divalent cat ions or any of the minerals with a positive 2 charge , you’re not going to absorb that. So in countries where GRAINS make up the majority of the diet, there are pervasive deficiencies in iron, manganese, zinc, copper, selenium because this Phytic acid is a part of these grains and it really prevents humans from absorbing it.

42:20 - The nut milks are problematic for a variety of reasons. They are based on seeds. Even organic oats are a problem. Oat milk is going to be full of glyphosate , unless it is made from organic oats. And even if you get organic oats, you’re still gonna be dealing with things like saponins. Almonds contain oxalates and digestive enzyme inhibitors. A lot of the nut milks have seed oils. Oatley contains canola oil. The purpose of the seed oil is to make the nut milk creamy like a whole milk. Imagine that, evolutionarily humans like the taste of whole milk. And then a lot of the nut milks have carrageenan which causes gut inflammation.
