Mama Bear's Soaps makes a shave soap based on the Brut fragrance. They call it Brute. I haven't tried their soaps so I can't speak to its performance or scent. I saw it this morning on Amazon.com. Then saw your video and request of artisans to make one.

Happy new year! If you can ever find the Brut shaving soap from the 70s give it a shot. I don't like it as much as the cream because the scent is not quite the same as 'real' Brut, but it performs admirably.

Soap Commander's "Endurance" scent is an Old Spice modeled after the Shulton formula, I believe. They have both the soap and an awesome after shave moisturizer with that scent. I love it. Also, regarding Firefox, you may have malware. Try running Malwarebytes (free) and their other free product AdwCleaner. It may fix your issue. Happy shaving!

Happy new year Paul and Mrs H, loved the Brut shave, I think I had told you that Elvis Presley was a cousin of mine, he always wore Brut, in later years his jumpsuits were made so as they couldn't be dry cleaned, he would douse them with Brut after a show to keep the smell down, little tidbit for you. I don't know why , but Brut makes me think of Steve McQueen , I don't know if that lines up or not . He was big in the 70s . My Dad was a Brut guy , my Grandfather was the Old Spice everything . He had some Brut along with a couple of Barber Shop Aftershaves I got him . The Old Spa treatment . Maybe someone will do that for me . That Cream was a Great Find ! BREATH , I can smell it here . Feather seems works very well in any razor. Especially comfortable mild settings.) Very BIG and beautiful bouquet, thank you for it, Mrs. H. Very nice, Brut's products. Shaving cream perphormed superb with rich lather.) A bottle of aftersheve, looks rich and luxurious. I recently shaved by shavette. And shaved my brother with it. Fantastic way to start the new year Paul! Orchids Mrs. H!, oh so beautiful! Incredible lather for it's age! I shaved yesterday morning and had to use the septic pencil for the first time in over a month, but I was on the forth use of a Personna Comfort Coated blade, my own fault for pushing it too far. My father always shaved in one pass and to get a clean shave he would use too much pressure and inevitably nick himself so the septic pencil was used often. Happy New Year Paul . Paul I wonder where did you get the cream from? It has to be made for Polish market. I noticed Polish writing on the box. Right under "Shaving cream" Is written in Polish "Krem do golenia" which means shaving cream in English of course. I use to live in Poland in the 80' and I don't recall that shaving cream being sold in Poland. I use to shave with Polsilver blades and Wars shaving cream.

Shave- a-thon LOL! Yes, he was using a Feather. I use one in my Merkur Futur and in the PAA Open Comb slant and generally without any paramedic on standby. But, just a second of non-concenstation and you've got an open wound! It's best to "condition" the blade before its first use

By conditioning, are you talking about stropping it through a cork? I don't think it's worth it as the Feathers are about the most expensive and they don't give as good a shave as the Wilkinson's (made in Germany version) , Polsilver SI's, GSB's or the Gillette 7 O'Clock yellows and greens. I got 20 shaves from my last Wilkinson and I usually get about 5 shaves from a blade. Even if I throw a Feather into an EJ89, I can't avoid at least one small nick. I'm going to have to try it with Mitchell's Wool Fat and see if there's a difference. Then again, I always go for the BBS shave in the tough areas with XTG passes on the neck and ATG in the mustache area and extensive buffing on the chin and neck during the pickup pass.

Shave- a-thon yes. I keep the cork from a used Whisky bottle and then draw the blade through it once - nice and slow and lightly. And you're right. there are a lot of good / better blades around such as those you listed, and I'd include the ASTRA Green in the list too. 20 from a WS classic! Amazing. My beard is thick and coarse and so chews through blades easily.

I've written before about how coarse and dense my beard can get. I'm always amazed that Paul can finish the chin with a few ATG strokes on the last pass. I need quite a few buffs on the chin and neck during the pickup pass, not to mention plenty of strokes under the nostrils on my 3rd pass. I have hairs that grow right down to the collarbone so I have to lather the whole neck. Shaving the bridge of my nose as well as some errant hairs on the sides of my eyes is also part of my routine! Have you caught KZbin's new feature with the menu option that allows the viewer to see what the uploader is thinking after a shave? It's a superb feature: i.imgur.com/kWGfr8g.jpg
