Hi, If using frozen chopped spinach would you squeeze it out after its thawed before adding to recipe, like you would when making spinach dip?
@ICookAndPaintАй бұрын
@@stellajean3020 Yes definitely squeeze it very dry first :)

Wow, thanks for sharing this recipe. I am not a big fan of eggs by themselves so always looking for Healthy recipes that would hide the Egg flavor. That Spinach was really dark Green and so crisp and fresh. Spinach is sometimes tricky to buy as there are usually some spoiled leaves. Will definitely try this recipe. Thanks to your Sister for sharing it.

So glad you enjoyed the recipe, they are not very eggy at all, mostly spinach and cheese. I will pass thanks on to my sister :)

You could likely use rice flour and have great results :)

Now you've just given me an idea of what I can do with Brussels Spouts, I hate them but it's the law in the UK,😂 you have to have them at Christmas time 🎅 🤮

These will work great with Brussels sprouts! And you won’t even know you’re eating them. Merry Christmas! 🇨🇦

This looks like a great recipe. So easy to make too. I will definitely be making this. I have a question, can you use baby spinach for this recipe? Not one of the stores and where I live, sells the regular fresh spinach.....Only baby spinach. Could you make it with frozen chopped spinach? I think you would have to squeeze the water out from thawing first, before adding? Your sandwich really good how you put it on the nan bread with the mayonnaise. Do you heat up the leftover in the microwave when you want to warm it from the fridge? I bet you could also freeze the squares for later. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Please thank you sister too.

Thanks so much! Yes you can definitely use baby spinach. It's actually easier because there are no tough stems to remove. If using frozen spinach, certainly squeeze it as dry as you can as too much moisture can prevent cooking. I do not own a microwave so I warmed mine in a toaster oven, but a microwave works too. And yes, these spinach squares freeze very well for up to 1 month :)
