New to VR. Got the VR2 yesterday. Exspectations wasnt high due to a lot of complaints on yt about blurry picture. Played the kayak game. Completely blown away. Love it

I love the kayak game, but can only play for about 5 minutes before I feel like I’m going to puke. Put it on the storm level, and I lasted less than a minute. The immersion is crazy though, I was sliding backwards and it felt like I was sliding backwards, really trippy. My wife was laughing at me so I made her try it. We used a cooler to sit on, and I watched her pitch forward and land on her face, was pretty funny. Yeah, it’s crazy the feeling of movement you get.

Same, it's amazing stuff. Don't even have my wheel yet, and I'm still in love. Already miss the 911 daily races from last week... This week's dailies are no fun :,( Monza is the most boring track ever made, and the fact that they paired it with the RA272 (which is an amazingly fun car in TURNS..) bummed me out. I'd play RA272 on maggiore or any other bendy track all day long. Monza is just flooring it for 99% of the track... Such a missed opportunity right there.

Their website has the recommended wheels and pedal, but they are pricey. I found a couple bundles for about 300 with the feedback and nice features, under 100 and you are losing features that add to immersion, thrustmaster has a couple options on sale right now.

Love this game so much! I actually played in first on PC a few years back but I couldn't really get the hang of the manual reloading so I just kind of gave up on it. So glad I decided to give it another go on PSVR2! I've finally started to get used to the manual reloading and I actually really dig it now. It adds a lot to the immersion. And those haptics and adaptive triggers! So good! This is absolutely the definitive version of Pavlov.

I wish there were specific TTT servers that never played anything else. It's such a different mode it might as well be a completely separate game. Whenever the hosts switch to TTT I have to swap servers cause I just hate that mode so much. It's probably better on PSVR2 than on Quest because there aren't that many kids on PSVR2 yet, TTT on quest(shack) and PCVR(full) is an absolute nightmare of kids screaming as loudly as they possibly can and just having constant panic attacks. Enjoy the adult vibes while they last I'd say. Once the kids start coming, the game turns into a TTT nightmare. It's what destroyed Pavlov for me on the quest and PCVR. I really really really wish they just had completely separate TTT servers... I wish no host could switch to TTT from other modes, because it's just not the same game. It's 99% banter and laughter. I'm in it for the slaughter. It's great that it's there, but it really sucks that it's a showstopper for a lot of us when the server swaps to it. Usually means I switch to GT7 when that happens.

Pavlov is my favorite PSVR2 game at launch. The amount of pure joy and moments unique to VR that simply can’t happen on a flatscreen means that for me this game ALONE is worth getting a PSVR2 for. Then the fact that there are other great PSVR2 games at launch means the headset is a must buy IMO.

Pro tip: Spend a lot of time on the gun range. When you play multiplayer, most of the time is spent running. You need to get good at shooting, not running, so you should be at the shooting range. 30 minutes at the range is 30 solid minutes of shooting and reloading. If you play 30 minutes online, you're going to have AT MOST 3-4 minutes of shooting, cause most of the time you'll be mowed down by someone better than you before you even get a few shots off. To reach 30 minutes of shooting you'll literally need to play for many many hours. The gun range isn't the most fun thing in the world, but it is ABSOLUTELY necessary. You're not gonna get better at shooting by running around getting shot.

However lucky for me i enjoy shoting range - probably because im so new with vr so just the gun mechanics, hapticfeedback and aim makes me so fascinated. One thing i noticed is that this game makes me feel a little bit nausea wich i didnt experience in call of the mountain wich make me need to take breaks in pavlov, weird how it can different so much between games.

Is it talking to people that messes you up? I also struggle with that A LOT, so I just play with my mic off. Tons and tons of us do for a lot of different reasons. Just give it a go, no one is going to get mad at you for not talking, at least no one you need to worry about. Angry toxic dumbasses exist everywhere, just ignore them. They are also very rare in VR compared to a screen-game where they're just a disembodied voice flinging slurs from the ether. I'm a guy with mad social anxiety in general. I tend to isolate pretty hard in real life and I hardly ever talk in game. Tore a racist a new asshole once because he triggered the hell out of me, but that's pretty much the extent of my social interactions in online VR games.. Best to keep that mic muted and also mute the vile smacktalking a-holes for my own and others sake. There's a way for us with anxiety to play online, we just gotta ease into it a bit. If the going gets tough, no shame in just yanking that headset off your head and leaving. You'll also find that VR is jam packed with social rejects and nervous losers like me. Don't be discouraged. For every toxic douchebag there's a bunch of us silent types just groaning at their toxicity into our muted mics. We're silently on your side. Maybe not much comfort in that, but most of us on every server are good people and there to have fun. You can also just ease into it with other games like GT7 where no one can talk to you. Hope you get into it, multiplayer VR is tremendous even if you don't utter a word. Sometimes there's a bunch of hilarious clowns on a server, and it really creates memories even if I don't interact. I've silently tagged along with friend groups and just laughed for hours in VR games many a time. Lots of funny goofballs out there, and they're used to silent people.

I was the same way. Always played COD muted but the community is really kinda awesome. Everybody is helpful and there’s a fun vibe to the game that keeps everyone chill. You should try it. It converted me pretty quickly. Now I have a blast playing with my mic on.

Turn on the virtual stock and then when you have a gun like an AR, push the controller that you use to shoot the gun to your left cheek if you're left-handed and vice versa while slightly leaning towards your shoulder this works on my Quest 2 and it actually feels like you have a stock on you and it's so immersive

You have to use it as a real gun. Stay steady. Eyes ahead on the front sight. Short bursts. If you know how to shoot in real life it’s second nature.

Crossfire Seirra Squad looks to be more singleplayer content than multiplayer. PAVLOV doesn't have a campaign or anything like that. Another game to keep an eye on is Firewalk Ultra. Firewalk Ultra and Crossfire are due to release later this year but don't have release dates. Pavlov is available right now and its only 25.00.

They’re working on bringing the workshop (mods) to the psvr2 version too. Basically means that there will be a whole load of custom maps coming soon including replicas of the good ones from games like COD. Really hope no legal issues get in the way

8.8 is too high. The lack of progression system makes the game a bit tedious and it doesn't reward you for playing, all games feel like practice matches. the wonky controllers and the lack of sigh for targets further away is a negative for me, some maps are a bit boring too. Plus its hard to playmore than one match due to the motion sickness. Pavlov is more like a 6/10 game.

Actually I prefer the controllers and not the aim now that the controllers we have for PSVR2 are so good. You want to keep in mind that the aim had to be a handgun as well and eliminated the possibility of akimbo pistols. The aim controller was great for the PSVR1 but after playing with proper tracking PSVR2 sense controllers I don't think I would even want an Aim 2.

8.8 is quite a high score. I really like the game, but there are no statistics, no progression system, game modes are not explained anywhere (unless I haven't found them) Respawns are a joke sometimes and you often get killed right after respawning. All these things were in multiplayer shooters already 15 years ago and the fact that this is a VR game is no excuse, not anymore. For me max 7/10 for great weapons and reloading systems, clean smooth graphics (although quite simple), good network code, many game modes. I hope the developers will not stop there and will add new content and features.

So what you're saying is that Firewall Ultra will have the generic non-stylised look of Unreal Engine 5? I hate Unreal Engine it's so hard to make a game look unique but with Unity, Cry Engine or even just a Proprietary Engine you can make your game look unique that's why The Last of Us Part 2 is praised for its graphical fidelity and optimisation it's the best looking and best running AAA game on the PS4 yes I said PS4, the same console that's specs are similar to a lower mid-range PC in 2013. So therefore Firewall Ultra will just be another generic UE5 game
