Love the cookbook reviews -from Vermont! I love the "Clean Vegan" by Jackie Akerberg - SOS Any cookbook by Gaz Oakley, Engine 2 cook book. I have over 200 vegan cookbooks. I cook for a hobby and read cookbooks for pleasure. I can't even begin my favorite list. My love eats meat (but very little) He prefers my vegan food. I am whole food plant based. I use no oil and very little processes. Love your site.

Hello 👋 from St. Thomas, On Canada 🇨🇦 whoop 🙌🏻 whoop 🙌🏻 I must have over 30 plant based cookbooks and the only one that I have that you reviewed is Veganomicon hahaha. Which is good though as it has so many recipes I wouldn’t know where to start so thank you! I used to follow a plant based diet several years ago but not WFPB. I am 53, have at least 50lbs to lose. I have high BP, and I’m pre-diabetic. I’ve been looking forWFPB recipes that aren’t bland and boring. Something I can stick to. I just found your videos about a week ago and have been binge watching them lol. Love them! Your whole family is awesome! Love the honest opinions especially Annie’s!

Great count-down compilation. I held off buying the Everyday Cookbook because I've watcher others review it, and they said the same thing - they had to make a lot of swaps. But in the end, they all loved it. I remember The Jaroudi Family channel reviewing it, and she loved it, with the swaps. I'm a lazy cook, and I hate to have to think "how am I gonna swap." I know. Poor excuse. But dang. When we're hungry, I want to grab a recipe and get it done. Although it might be a good late night project, to sit and read through it, scratching things out and entering the swaps needed, so it becomes a quick and easy recipe. Ugh. Too much to think about. LOL. I love your energy Jeremy to do all this work for us, using your family as guinea pigs. I love the honest reviews they provide. Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year. The very best to all of you!

Hi! I am Pam, a senior watching from Portland, Oregon. I have enjoyed your cookbook series and this list was a great finish for the year. I immediately ordered #1, 15-Minute Vegan Meals, by Janet Gronnow. Besides being a beautiful book with yummy-looking recipes, it strikes me that the way it is ordered would be a good intro to vegan cooking and eating. (I'm a beginner wanna-be.). Pasta dishes are an easy start that everyone is familiar with, followed by soup, also familiar and comforting. Vegan bowls with sauce are more of a stretch, and finally stir fries seem to be most obviously missing the meat. I look forward to trying them all! Thank you for the inspiration!

We don't use butter for WFPB - what do you want to substitute it for?

Please check out Craving Vegan by Sam Turnbull. It was recently released and is my new fav.

I was literally going through it this morning. Stay tuned!!!! What are your fav recipes???

@@pbwithjeremy nice! We like her no knead bread, linguini Alfredo which is now our new Alfredo, tahini pesto gnocchi, crunch wrap superior, lightening Raman - so easy and flavourful and we used the millet ramen from Costco which I think is GF, bangin bratwurst, banana pudding which we turned into a banana cream pie. She has an entire ‘eggy’ section that looks very neat which we have tackled yet

Oh, I hope you do this for 2024!! All of your videos are great, and having 2 teenagers testing recipes lets the viewers know that we are getting the brutal truth. 😂

Fellow Capricorn here born on the 6th of January! That's a big deal here in new orleans being that it is also the first day of Mardi Gras! Happy early birthday to you Jeremy. I am going to watch this video a second time to figure out which of the cookbooks need to join the rest of my vegan collection. I think I might have a problem. Lol

Fellow Cap! My birthday is just a day after yours - and Mardi Gras must be a pretty incredible way to celebrate your birthday! Sorry for giving you too many recommendations for your cupboards :)

Jeremy how do you film and edit videos while working full time?????
@pbwithjeremy11 ай бұрын
Hey Sheilia - luckily I'm a freelance filmmaker so I'm largely in charge of my own schedule when I'm not in production on something. It takes a lot of time to do them for sure, thanks for appreciating that. I truly enjoy doing them and how they help people in our community. I've been able to meet some wonderful people, and we've been lucky to grow this community to a point where we get some revenue from the adds and people leaving tips, etc.... So far I split my time between traditional film and television work and this, but there could come a time when I do this full time potentially. Only time will tell!

AH! thank you for your review! Have you tried anything from Well your World? Their recipes are always lovely and very simple. Also, Jill Dalton from The Whole Food Plant Bsed Cooking Show? I just made her Marry Me vegan Chicken recipe (with tofu instead of a not-chicken cutlet) and my partner, who is not very adventurous with his food, loved it. Check them out! :)

Thanks Jill - do you think one of the Well Your World ebooks would be the best thing to try? If so do you have a recommendation?

@@pbwithjeremy Hi! Lucie here! Yes, WYW and WFPB Cooking Show cookbooks are a must. But to get the full experience, both have YT channels where, just as for the Esselstyn power duo, one can see how easy and delicious their recipes are.

Thank you for the recommendations... Your channel is awesome. I want to recommend another channel & a couple cookbooks as well (check out it doesn't taste like chicken-- Sam Turnbull) she helped me to begin my plant based diet and then I found you. Keep up the great videos... we love seeing your recipe ideas

Great video. I love the book reviews. Could we have less swearing though🤷🏼♀️
@pbwithjeremy9 ай бұрын
We haven't had swearing in our videos for awhile, and if we slip up we bleep it out. If we missed a bleep I apologize. But if the bleeping also bothers you I can't promise it'll get better than that. We're who we are :)
