PCT #63 The Freedom Step

Freezing nights lead to sunny days as I head further into Yosemite along the PCT. River crossings abound in these wild mountains and sometimes the old paws get wet. Instead of grumbling, a hiker should embrace the temporary freedom to step wherever they please.

Eric Hanson (Hansen?) has a video where they are charging him with a felony for sleeping out of bounds at a national park (the grand canyon). Different circumstances, but if you did stealth camp, I certainly wouldn't admit to it on camera! Yosemite is soooooo pretty, thanks for sharing.

Totally agree friend, I've stealthed several times in grand canyon but it was 30 yarns ago
